In The Remaining Lifetime (3)

Qin Zhaozhao sat at the president's seat and lowered her head with a serious expression. "Let's begin."

"President Qin, Mu Chen isn't here yet. Should we wait a while more?" a female artist reminded her.

"No need." The CEO's tone was cold.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door…

Everyone looked up and saw Liao Muchen in jeans and a white short-sleeved shirt leaning against the door with a lollipop in his mouth.

"Sorry, President Qin, I'm late… There was a traffic jam," he explained as he took out a lollipop from his mouth.

Qin Zhaozhao tilted her head and looked at him. "We couldn't get through to your phone because of the traffic jam?"

"My phone is out of battery."

"Your manager's phone is out of battery too?" Qin Zhaozhao asked, feeling slightly angry. After all, it was not the first time he had been late for a meeting.

"My manager didn't bring her phone and left it in the makeup room at the headquarters," he quibbled.
