For him, there's nothing more exciting and satisfying than watching his company dominating the stock exchange and making more money. His mind made up during his childhood that he would never follow his father's steps, not be brought down on his knees by a woman, or so he thought, not until Ririna left him! His woman disappeared, taking his heart with her... 

Now, she's back!!! She wants to delve deeper into the accidental death of her mother. 

This is the chance Eli has been waiting for, this time she can't get away from him anymore. Threats and dangers are still lurking around them. Their enemies are seeking after them with lethal schemes. In this game of life and death, raising a child is not ideal. He must eliminate them all first before starting a family with Ririna, but the child he never knew he had is seeking him regardless. Is his child going to be his weakness or his strength? 

Story set in a fictional unnamed country.

"Stop trying to intimidate me. It won't work." Ririna stood from her seat and glared down at her husband.


He was always like this whenever something wasn't going his way. He instinctively used power on everything, including his relationship with his own family. It was almost like his second nature. Ririna had to remind herself that Eli had been accustomed to being in command, and he had never argued with anyone about his decisions.


"Don't you dare use that tactic on me. It won't work."


"So you still plan to disobey me. Why can't you just listen to me? It's for your own good."


"God damn it, Eli. I know you care about me. Don't you trust me? I'm your wife!"


"Exactly, and I expect you to act like one. You are supposed to listen to your husband."


Ririna felt a pain in her chest. She knew he was right, but her mind couldn't understand why he was trying to intimidate her? Why was he trying to control her?
