Flight

*B-Boom* The sound of explosions could be heard outside of the willow king courtyard. This is the demon kings lair. I am but a lowly servant. Unable to voice my opinion for I am weak. If one is not strong they are not allowed to fight. The reason why we fight is not so simple as to why humans the lowly creatures fight. We fight for land and survival. With new land comes more opportunities means more life. So what we fight for is not wealth, land, riches, religion, and more. we fight for one simple thing. LIFE!!! WE DO NOT FIGHT FOR PERSONAL GAIN!!!

Sorry, but we are not as pitiful as humans who beg for their lives when we die. We do not think twice for sacrificing ourselves for the thing we hold most important. We don't give up on what we think is ours and what is ours we fight to keep it. we don't sacrifice something to survive we just try to destroy what prevents us from surviving in the first place. That is the way of demons. We fight to live. NOT TO SURVIVE!!!

Sorry, we demons have no control over our anger. It is one of the issues that servants learn to deal with. I am still learning I am a new servant. Unlike humans, demons age slower and rather getting weaker the older we are the oldest among us are the strongest. They don't fight on the front lines though. All for they are our leaders. Strong, knowledgeable, conceding, crafty, and levelheaded. The demon king and his men never lose their cool which is what also makes them great leaders. Many demons have a hard time handling our brash emotions. It can become a weakness. The older the demon the more control they have of their emotions.

Now for about me, I am 150 years old I am actually considered young. Demons can live up to 1,000 years or more. The oldest among us is the demon king who is approximately 900 years old. Actually, 50 years from now of his son's will be taking over. I believe the son that he has chosen to be the next leader is actually his second eldest son. His first eldest son is assigned as second in command. Well, let's get back to me. I am a demoness meaning that I am a high ranking demon girl. I was supposed to be the demons head leader on the front lines. Obviously, I'm not because I am a servant in the king's castle. Says a lot in for my standing in the world. Let's say I'm a terrible leader. I'll tell you later I need to mop the floor on my hands and knees right now.
