Interest

Chen the right hand man was feeling dejected as he was completely forgotten by the couple who was just there intently staring at each other. He silently stood and left the crazed couple because he knew if he continued to stay and watch their 'romantic' meeting he would be forced to eat dog food.

After Chen left, Cyllene calmly picked the cup of tea and sipped as if she was enjoying her time alone. The silence that enveloped them wasn't awkward nor disturbing, in fact they took it as if it was their sign of acknowledging each other.

"Why am I here?" her voice wasn't loud nor silent, it was enough for the both of them to hear it. It wasn't also mad nor in panic.

"interest" answering her question was his deep voice. Realizing what he meant by 'interest' unconsciously her brows raised and ears twitching.

"I'm a bit lost, what do you mean interest dear sir?" her lashes fluttered as she looked back at his dark eyes.

"I find you interesting" silence once again took over as the other person felt astonished while the man did not even care about her bashful reaction.

"does that clear your thoughts?" and with his shameless confessions, her mind seemed to break down.
