1.19 Meeting

A new day began and already Wei Guiyin was inside a meeting for her new project. Some were smiling with a sadistic grin, other felt pity for her and others only had indifference in the situation. Wei Guiyin knew that everyone in here already had knowledge of what was happening and that was not out of her expectations, but what was out of her expectations was that Long Chaoda was also in the meeting, and if he was in here that meant that he was also a major owner of Yin corporation.

'Moon, since when Long Chaoda became a major shareholder?'

In the outside, Wei Guiyin seemed totally unaffected, but in the inside, she was panicking.

[Host, Long Chaoda is currently the owner of the 13% of Yin corporation]

'What?! When did this happen?'

Wei Guiyin had no knowledge of this. With now an unknown variable in the equation, things can go out of hand really fast if not handled correctly.

[Responding to Host, Long Chaoda was already an owner of a small fraction of Yin corporation before you arrived, but he began to buy shares of Yin co. in mass since you two met for the first time, and it was not until yesterday that he obtained the right to be at the shareholder meetings]

'Tch'

"Good Morning ladies and gentlemen. I am almost certain as to why this meeting was called, but before we begin"

Wei Guiyin turned around to look at her intent of big brother.

"Wei Fuhong, could you do me the favor of exiting the meeting hall. This meeting is only for the majority shareholders, and you do not possess even one share, so please leave before I would be in the need to call security"

Wei Guiyin had a business smile on her face while she talked with Wei Fuhong meanwhile Wei Fuhong's face was distorted with anger and shame.

"With what right do you have to be here that I don't have?!"

Wei Fuhong was already red in anger.

"Well, Mr. Wei to begin with, I am a major shareholder; therefore, I can be here, and secondly, I am the CEO and if I don't have the right to be here, no one has"

The smile even though it was not a real one turned to a freezing glare. Seeing Wei Guiyin glare, Wei Fuhong was shocked and even scared for a second, but soon after he let any of his remaining neurons die.

"THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! THIS IS THE FAMILY COMPANY AND I, AS THE ELDEST SON, SHOULD BE THE ONE SITTING IN THE CEO CHAIR. AND HOW IS IT THAT I DON'T HAVE EVEN ONE SHARE WHEN YOU ARE A MAJOR HOLDER?!!"

Wei Fuhong was walking towards Wei Guiyin as he was screaming. When he was just a couple of steps away from reaching her, he was stopped by someone that put himself in front of Wei Guiyin obstructing Wei Fuhong from even seeing her.

Wei Guiyin was surprised that Long Chaoda was in front of her shielding her from any harm. She was shocked not only because Long Chaoda was shielding her, but also because she did not notice him getting near her.

"Mr. Wei, did you forget that this is not your family's company but your sister's, so you being the eldest son of your family does not matter in here. You do not even have the right to even dream of the CEO chair since you had not done anything for this company nor did you possess a high percentage of the shares of this company, and finally you do not possess any shares since you had not been productive enough to be awarded any nor had you bought any with your own money"

Long Chaoda did not seem to bother when Wei Fuhong's face began to lose color and his stance to weaken.

"Escort Mr. Wei our of this conference room since he does not have any business in here"

Before Wei Fuhong had the chance to say something, two men in suits came inside the room and grabbed Wei Fuhong arms and almost chased him out of the room.

"Now we can continue where we left on. CEO Wei if you may"

Long Chaoda pretended to only be an acquaintance of Wei Guiyin which she was grateful for since having a relationship with him known right now would not be beneficial for her.

"Well, now that only the parties involved are here, let us get into serious matters. As you have known, right now I am in charge of a project which is about the development of a new material for the use in military tanks and weaponry. However, it seems like some of you had forgotten about something"

Wei Guiyin stood up from her chair and slammed her hand on the table.

"THIS IS MY COMPANY. I WAS THE ONE THAT BUILT IT FROM THE GROUND AND MADE IT WHAT IT IS TODAY, AND IT ALSO IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR INCOME, SO YOU BETTER REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU PLAN TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS AGAIN!"

There was an absolute silence through the meeting hall. No one dared to talk or say a thing. Yes, they had forgotten that if it were not for her, they would not be able to sit in the chair that they are currently sitting on. Wei Guiyin once again took a sit on her chair.

"Now, Mr. A, B, C, and D thank you for investing in Yin corporation, but by the rules established on the contract once you scheme against me, the chairwoman, and get found out, you will lose all your shares and they would return to me. Now that you are not owners of shares, do me a favor and leave this building"

And as with Wei Fuhong, before they could say a thing they had already been escorted to the exit of the company.

"Ladies and gentlemen now let us begin with the actual meeting"

The meeting proceeded without a hitch and the project was approved unanimously.
