As he thought about it, he read through the half-solved diary again, hoping to gain more information.
Date: 18/03/18, Monday
I'm writing this for myself if I somehow lost my memory about Lyn one day. She is very pretty, smart, kind and likes dogs , someone I can never/ever forget, not just because I made a promise with her, but also because I also made a promise to myself too...
The first time she visited me and saw Ken, she paid all her attention on Ken and don't even bother looking for me. I was a little upset that Ken had way more attention than me, so I shot Ken a 'go away' look and he understood instantly. Maybe that's the first time I started wanting to be closer than classmates, for I actually ate beyond my limit just to eat with Lyn/her who came without having lunch. I even cooked for her and forget about the loneliness I felt at home when I spent time with her.
Although she made me had a stomachache the next day, it was worth it just to feel that bit of warmth at home again, even if its just for a short while. I thought at that moment that maybe I am
the only one that would think that the things we shared are ~, till the time we played truth and
dare. At first, I thought she hates me for she made me tell ~ "I love your hair" although I really detest it. It's not even the ~ time she made me do such things..
She said that she had a secret - she have a curse with ~ and when she gets too close to one, he will just forget about the memories they had together ~ become a stranger. You'd probably not believe her curse for I did not believe it either when ~ said it. It was only when I acted like I was cursed with her curse and saw her crying ( for thinking ~ her curse caused her to lose me) did I realised that what I thought was one-sided, was actually ~. We both cherished our times together and don't wanna lose each other so she made ~ promised not to forget her, which is sorta the reason for this diary to exist. I will also help her to ~ this curse if possible, if not, just live with her curse.
So.. the headache I suffered must be due to her curse and that's why I can't remember any close or funny moments we had as mentioned in the diary, but only the day we first sat together and I have the impression that we have always not talked since the start of this term.
Woah! If I didn't find this diary, I would have thought that she likes girls, and that's why she only talks to girls...
But from my diary, it seemed like I wrote it just to recover my memory if I ever experienced being cursed by her curse (like now) and that she doesn't know about it. In that case, I should just act dumb and shock her when its the right time!
So if I only think of Lyn as a classmate that I never talked to at all, I wouldn't even have her number, much less contact her. Thus, asking her via message or call is out! Looks like the only option left is to ask her face to face, but I'll have to wait till tomorrow!
Devon is the stubborn type that won't skip or move on if he encounter a problem. So once he's stucked at something, he will be stucked until he had resolved what he is stucked at.
As he grumbled about having to wait, an idea struck his head.
Eh..why not check through my chat history with Lyn?
