The Sharpened Doubt

In a fine house in the city of ShangHai, a shadow of a man could be seen going through a box with one hand. His hand had traces of blood on it as he searched for some gauze to close up his wounds.

The gunshot was not on any important parts of his shoulders; it had missed the important veins. He lived alone and his parents were both not with him, so he had long been used to doing everything alone. Lin Cheng was almost done patching up his wound when the bell at his gate rang.

That must be his boss…

A black smart car stopped in front of a fine-looking house. Although the house was not as big as the Feng family's mansion, it was not bad looking either. Jun Kai swiftly got out from his car and rang the bell.

However, the gate that should have been locked was left open. Jun Kai's brows furrowed; it was never left open like this. Despite the growing concerns in his heart, he decided to wait for a couple of minutes.
