<Myth> How the Goddess of Love and the Goddess of Oracles and Forbearance Met (2)

Eolia, Goddess of Love and Tirna, Goddess of Oracles and Forbearance

Part 2

"Stop being a brat, Eolia," Tirna quietly said, staring at her crush.

Eolia pouted and crossed her arms. "I can't help it! I'm upset."

"But you don't have to take it out on me."

Taking a deep breath, Eolia sighed. "You're right," she said, moving her long, blonde hair away from her face. "I need to calm down."

"Good," Tirna nodded. She glanced down at her cauldron. "Now, I believe that you've already asked your minimum amount of scrys today."

"Really!?" Eolia pouted once more. Tirna's attention drifted to her extended- but more importantly luscious- pink lips.

Hoping her gulp wasn't audible, Tirna continued. "Yeah. Two tries a day."

"Darn," Eolia raked her petite hands through her hair. "I guess I have to speed date without your added reassurance, Tirna." Big, round, puppy dog eyes stared at Tirna.

"Uh-huh," It took all of Tirna's strength to nod.

Eolia sighed and whipped out her Handy. Dialing, she was connected to a different communication device. A male voice sounded out, "Hello? Who is this?"

"Eolia, Goddess of Love."

The man could be heard saying, "Score!", in the background.

"Are you seriously going to speed date, Eolia?" Tirna couldn't help but ask.

"Yes," Eolia nodded, determination in her eyes. "I need to get married and shove it to the rest of the Gods!"

Tirna sighed.

............................ Near midnight

Tirna heard knocking from her door. Sighing, she glanced at the window- it was pitch dark. The knocking became more fervent, and Tirna had no choice but to stand from her comfortable bed and open the door.

What greeted her was Eolia's crying face, her makeup making her look like a raccoon. "Eolia! What happened?!"

Eolia sniffled and wrapped her arms around Tirna. Tirna could feel her blouse getting wet from Eolia's tears. Soothingly patting Eolia's back, Tirna's mind went into overdrive.

"Was it your date?" Tirna asked, yet it was the calm before the storm.

Having not noticed since she was plastered to Tirna, Eolia nodded her head.

Tirna clenched her fist. That man was going to pay.
