<Different POV> God of Trickery and Deceit

Brqi'a stood outside, the wind of his Godspace lifting locks of his red hair. His eyes held a deep mirth as he looked at the pool filled with the waters of rejuvenation.

Another God walked behind him, her footsteps light and fluttery. "You've played him for a fool, my King," the goddess quietly said, her voice as light and fluttery as her footsteps.

Brqi'a turned to view the goddess, her pink hair and beautiful features pleasing to him. He swept her up in a hug using his right arm and nuzzled into her neck.

"My King!" She squealed, laughing at the way his stubble tickled her soft skin.

"Xa'l, my goddess," Brqi'a laughed. "You are indeed the Goddess of Fortune." He wrapped his other arm around her and swung her around, ending it by looking deeply into her pink pupils.

Xa'l giggled and extended her arms around his neck. She leaned in and placed a feathery kiss on his chin. "And you are indeed the God of Trickery and Deceit, my King."

He placed his forehead on hers. "They don't call me that for nothing, dearest."

She nodded. "Yet, I believe that you've outdone yourself this time, Brqi'a."

His smile transformed into a pleased smirk. "I may not be able to interfere directly," he said, darkly, "but I can still do it indirectly."

They shared a knowing look before Brqi'a could take it no longer. He lifted the beautiful goddess up, taking her inside his castle. He was to have his way with her tonight as a celebration for their victory.
