<Different POV> Brqi'a's Plan

"What!" Brqi'a's shout filled his entire Godspace, and the walls of his castle rumbled.

A minor goddess shook in fear, cowering below the standing god. "Y-y-yes, my Lord," she whispered, tears in her eyes. "T-t-the young girl survived."

"You mean that filthy, tiny, pathetic human?!?" He whipped his hand around and another gust of wind shook the walls.

She flinched again before she spoke, "Yes, my Lord."

Brqi'a heaved before he sat heavily upon his throne. "Leave," he commanded. He watched with darkened eyes as the minor goddess left.

"Don't be so grumpy, my King." A silky voice whispered into his ear, and Brqi'a slightly smiled.

"What is it, my goddess?"

X'al giggled as she sat on Brqi'a's lap. She leaned in and wrapped her arms around Brqi'a's neck. "Oh nothing," she breathed and giggled once more. "I just don't think you should waste your time on that... thing."

"The human?"

"Exactly," X'al placed her cheek flat against Brqi'a's armor and pouted. "You haven't been with me lately."

Brqi'a quirked a brow. "And you feel lonely?"

"It took you long enough to guess."

Laughing, Brqi'al lifted the goddess up bridal-style. "That can be fixed. Immediately."
