not much of intrest

[Jaku] Although it seemed that Delano was a nice and good person, we still had to take precautions. The anti gravity graveyard would still house useful components which he would help me collect, but Narchean and Buvin would be on the real mission down below. Their mission consisted of scouting out the base for survivors and more materials, including much tastier food. We would also be scouting from the air for any threats they may face.

"Ok Delano, let's go." I called back to him. "Take this respirator, it will remove the gas the antimatter puts out. Remember not to drift outside the floating debris. You will fall."

"Don't get too worked up Jaku, I'll be fine," he responded to my warnings.

I might as well have not even warned him. As soon as we had been floating around the debris field for a bit, I heard something.

"Aaahhhh!" Of course it was Dellano, although he managed to use his boosters to get back into the antigravity area. I could only hope that he had learned his lesson.

"Have you ever extracted the core of a anti gravity machine before?" I asked Delano.

"Nope!" He grinned stupidly. "I have no successful... um no technical experience whatsoever."

"Okay, umm… uh," I had expected him to at least know something about machines "just follow my lead and try not to mess up anything too badly."

I moved myself carefully through the anti gravity fields. Avoiding any dangerous materials I made my way to the closest generator. Grabbing on to the side I started pulling it towards another generator. "Remember," I told Dellano, "that when you remove the core, the anti gravity field will dissipate and anything inside, including us will fall. This is why it's always important to keep the generators close to each other."

I pulled the core out of the first generator, debris off to the side fell. By the time it hit the ocean below we couldn't see or hear it. 'Are we really that high up?' I thought to myself.

I moved on to the next core, Dellano was watching over my shoulder curiously. "Here," I told Dellano as I moved aside, "you do this one." I turned my attention to the base that Narchean and Buvin were in. No signs of activity.

"Hey Jaku," Dellano said anxiously while tapping my shoulder.

"Not now Dellano," I told him, but he still grabbed me and spun me around. This was fairly easy for him because of the anti gravity field. Once I had been spun around I saw immediately what he wanted me to notice. In the distance by the shore there was a flare shooting up towards the sky.

"Bring the core Dellano, let's go see who it is."

We went back to the ship and I radioed Narchean. "Looks clear at the base but we just saw a flare go up, moving to investigate."

"Go ahead, not much here anyway."

And so, we moved off to see who had called for help.
