how the smallest pleb crushed the giant part 2

While Arthur was internally mourning the dark time to come for the Weasley clan, the Aurors had returned, both supporting a slumping Dumbledore.

"Hear! On this 31 October 1991, the Wisengot assemble for the extraordinary session! This trial opposes House Potter, against House Dumbledore. Leading the session, chief warlock Marchbanks, Minister Fudge, and DMLE head, Madam Bones!"

"This session is now open, Auror, bring the accused!" Say the chief warlock with a stern gaze in her eyes when looking at her predecessor.

Unceremoniously dumping the man on the uncomfortable wooden chair, Dumbledore had barely the time to react, before the chains snap on his arms and legs. Facing the assembly, all could see the state of the man. Gone was the habitual flamboyant Dumbledore in frivolous robes. Gone was the look of the man looking at you playfully. Gone was the grandfatherly smile on his face.

Now facing them was prisoner Dumbledore, robed in the grey slacks of the convict of the Ministry cells. His twinkling eyes were gone in his gaze, and his eyes seem lost. His expression was tired and marred with the sign his age brings.

This was a surprising sight for all of them to see the man who had dominated the political scene for decencies to be left in such a state, no better than an older man having lost everything.

~~~
"Scrib, the charges!"
Started by the somewhat harsh call of the older woman, say scribe hastily turn the page of his book.
"Yes, chief Warlock! Mr Dumbledore is charged with two counts of thieves, of Heirloom of House Potter."
While the charges were short, their gravity wasn't lots to any of them. With the Pureblood forming more than three-fourth of the assembly, all of them react badly at them. The dark and Grey block was furious that the man dares to do something like this, while his supporter and fellow peoples in the Light side whiten, knowing that this case was also foregone, should a spec of this sordid affair was to be confirmed.
Fudge, on his side, was boasting, he would finally have the upper hand on the old wizard. The man was still sore after the monumental loss that the story of the Boy-Who-Lived had kicked, more so after hearing of the debacle, his law had brought the cabinet under him. He hadn't liked the fact that he had to gift back some of his bribe- hard-earned gold back to his friends.
"Was there any evidence of the crime?"
"Yes, Minister, from the gathered 86 concording testimonies of Heirs. Auror Moody had identified the concerned item as the Elder wand." Those words immediately raise a tsunami in the assembly, the confirmation of the existence of the fabled wand was indeed a major affair more than one gaze light with greed at the thoughts of possessing the wand.
"How such an item is relevant?"
"From Heir Potter words, and confirmation of the goblin of Gringotts, House Potter is indeed the direct descendant of Ignotus Peverell. As a sole living descendant of Antioche and Cadmus, Heir Potter had a legitime claim on the wand. This was also proven by magic as Heir Potter was clearly able to claim the say wand from one Albus Dumbledore. Regretfully, Heir Potter hadn't other choice but destroyed say Heirloom when the accused had made a move to retake possession of say wand."
While the first words had lit a blaze of greed, the following terms stunned the assembly for a few seconds, before the words register. At the fact that the fabled wand had been lost forever, cries of outrage start to rise, the bolder ones even starting to curse Alex for the destruction of such relic.
"Silence!" The canon-blast charms, along with the frigid bark of the old lady, froze the rising revolt. "While the loss of such item his heart-rending, none of you had the right to reprimand and curse Heir Potter for his decision. ShallHeir Potter press a single charger against a single of you concerning the case will be immediately sentenced for an infraction against Family magic, I am clear?!" Glared her at each of those present in the courtroom.
When they hear the chief Warlock start to defend the young Heir, some had wanted to spoke again, but at the word of the sentence, all turn ashen white. Any sentence falling under this particular piece of legislation would see your family Vault sucked eigh-tenth of it content and a direct cell of high security at Azkaban for a decade, with an irrevocable sentence.
This risk wasn't just worth it, as the wand was already destroyed.
~~~

With a subducted public, Griselda Marchbank turned back to the quivering scribe.

"What of the second charge."

Jolted back by her word, the scribe nod frankly, before going through the transcript as if his life depended on it.

"One Minerva McGonagall had indeed attested to have found such item in the private quarters of the Headmaster. She had also confirmed knowledge of the existence of the item predate Fleamont Potter time. As such the item had been confirmed older than 100 years and owned by House Potter for at least three generations, validating its status as Heirloom."

~~~
Unlike the previous case, the Wisengamot didn't need to found if the accused was guilty or not, just the fact that he owned such items, and the accusation validated by a trustworthy third party was enough.
Being the Transfiguration mistress for decades, and privately aware of the veritable owner, Minerva McGonagall testimony was more than enough, more when one knows the close relationship she shares with the headmaster.
~~~

"As the crime fall under the jurisdiction of the concerned House, scribe, read for the Wisengamot' Transcript House Potter Charter on the crime."

Following the given order, a thick book made its apparition on the desk of the court scribe. After a short search among the numerous pages, the recorder finally found the particular section.

"For the crime committed against House Potter, the thief is to face a two-time punishment. First, a fine of 1,000G per years of the missing artefact, followed by incarceration. The duration of say incarceration was to be decided upon by the acting council.

In case it was impossible to predate the Artefact, the House head shall use a minimal charge of a complete century, again, followed by the ruling of the council as the duration of the incarceration."

Nodding at the given fact, Griselda Marchbanks strike her mallet her desk, ready to deliver justice.

"As known to appears around the thirteen centuries, the fine shall be fixed at the end of Antioche Peverell life, in 1291, for 700 years. As for the item of unknown origin, the charter applies a basic fine of 100 years. Mr Dumbledore is to pay 800,000G to House Potter in the atonement. As the WIsengamot established that Mr Dumbldore and it House is unable to pay such fine, it falls on its political allies to see at the debt! The Wisengamot will now withdraw to debate as of the second part of the sentence. Aurors, return prisoner Dumbledore to his cell, and informed in due time."

~~~
At her world, the entire contingent of the Wisengamot immediately broke to hastily made it's way to the adjacent chamber, and probe their ally as of the sentence pending.
Alex, on his side, was given two bills from the scribe of the court, the first was the Wisengamot authorisation to withdraw the 100G House Weasley own him, the second was similar, only containing the name of the affiliated House to House Dumbledore, to regulate the fine.
After a short thank, he was lead out of the room by the same Auror who had led him to the courtroom.
Rather than returning to Hogwarts, he directly made way to the Alley, after successfully losing the horde of reporters wanting a word on the ongoing affair. Thankfully, none seems to be still aware of his true identity, as they all turn back when they see him vanish in the fire, not pursuing him.
Its only thanks to the fact that the trial had been a private matter about two ancient Houses that the reporters were left outside the courtroom for the duration of the initial trial.
~~~

Making his way through the Alley, he didn't stop until reaching the white building. The second the guards on the side of the doors see him put a foot on the steps leading to Gringotts, both crushed a glass crystal pending on their wrist.

Inside the bank, the goblins immediately know that the Heir Potter was here. This spread a wave of uneasiness for the teller and simple goblins roaming the hall.

At the sight of a red mane of hair, a free clerk immediately exited his booth and came to its encounter.

"What can Gringotts do for you, Heir Potter?"

~~~
Alex internally raises a brow at the unnatural and particular behaviour. Would it be another wizard, the man would have boasted, and surely ridicule the goblin, but Alex knows better.
"My business his two folds, one concerning your branch, in particular, House Weasley."
When he didn't mention the second, the goblin understands the message, a 'your too low ranked to know' type one.
The goblin led him himself in the tunnel of the bank. Not wanting to delay they exit the premise, and immediately introduced into the office of House Weasley accountant.
Like the clerk, the goblin gaze hardens at the sight of the boy.
Sitting without being invited, Alex wordlessly takes the transcript of the trial, given before he exits the courtroom. The tense atmosphere between the two ease as the goblin realise that it was only a formal visit. Nodding to himself, he quickly drafts a message on a parchment slip, before letting it fall in an unseen opening on the desk.
"The debt will be here shortly, is there anything else, Heir Potter?"
"Yes, while it concerns the account you oversee, it also not the only one." Say, Alex, while slipping the second bill to the goblin.
When he sees the second one, he internally winces at the sums. Even if there were 56 others House concerned, House Weasley was of the oldest and as such would have to participate in the effort. The bill was immediately sent through the same way, to gather the concerned parties.
"It will require a few minutes to gathers every concerned party."
Nodding his head, another goblin enters the room after announcing itself, leading them to the prepared room for the meeting.
~~~

In the following ten minutes, a procession of 56 goblins would continuously enter an sit. What surprise Alex for a second was that all wore leather armour bearing their clan crest.

'We enter their bank with a waiver worth at least 800,000G. Not only it a large sums, but more importantly, it concerns 56 different House altogether.'

-True, but none of them seems to have seen it.-

'Hmn.' Grunt Alex before the last two goblins made their way inside. On the right, he could easily make the Accountant of House Weasley, but it was the last one that ring warning bell in his head. Contrary to all other, this one was in full regalia, with an armour made of goblin' silver.

-Alex, the crest!- CS urgent tone snapped him of his thoughts before his eyes imperceptibly harden at the crest and particular manufacture of the armour.

'They survived?!' Gritted him is teeth internally, as rage start to bubble inside him.

-Seems so, none other would wear those, it was indeed a good thing that those morons left you alone for a few minutes here. Keep calm, now not the time.-

'I know.' Say, Alex, reigning on his temper, while his face had to stay impassive all along.

~~~
As the last goblin made his way in, taking place first, all the 55 others sit on the arc table, giving the impression of a jury ready to the judge the fate of a criminal, facing them on a single chair and desk.
While it was one of their subtle way to intimidate the wizards that would face them, it only comforts Alex on his thoughts.
"Heir Potter." Started Kneebuster, the presiding goblin of this session. "We are assembled here, due to the debt of 800,000G owned..."
"5,337,600,000G" Immediatly cut Alex.
"What?!" The outrageous amount immediately ruffles their feathers, and all turn excessively angry that the boy was trying such a ridiculous scam.
"The fine, it not 800,000G, it 5,337,600,000G. As the charter of House Potter predate to 1263, and the fact that House Peverell wed in the Potter line and not the contrary, the fine is to be pay following our guideline. Since it fixed the punishment fees in 1263, I have the right to demand the conversion of Galleon. As of 1263 the value of today Galleon would be equal to 6672G. 800,000multiplete by 6672 equal 5,337,600G." Say cooly Alex, resting lazily in the uncomfortable chair.
~~~

The unbelievable words send the gathered goblins in a frenzy. Unnamed goblins where nearly punted to confirm is words, hoping them false, and they would be able to stick fines for is lies.

Regretfully for them, the quivering of fright goblins who returned made them sport ugly faces. It only worsens when they confirm the legality of is claim.

While he could see some of them completely losing the will to live for the legal robbery, he was surprised to discover that goblin seems like blushing when nearing a stroke.

All know that he deals a deadly to the Accounts under their names. If those fines were equally divided, all Houses would need to pay at least 95,000,000G. It wasn't the time to discuss who will pay how much, but how will they pay.

Seeing that they were nearing hysteria, Alex spoke.

"Let do this simply." His calm words stopping all of them, to turn their attention to him. "I willing to make a small concession. I will start by taking fourth-fifth of any liquid assets of those families held in your Vaults." Started Alex, taking pleasure to suck them dry.

When they hear him, all start to look through the holding under Gringotts safekeeping, rapidly drawing the first base.

"Next, all share will be liquidated, sell to Gringotts at their highest actual values."

They grumble, knowing that since Gringotts wasn't allowed to own shares of wizarding businesses, they would need to sell them back. With them paying the highest price, they wouldn't make money, worst, if they don't sell them back today, they would lose money, at a price would go down for the massive influx of available shares suddenly appearing.

"All ownerships are either sold, or their corresponding amount is taken out of the remaining funds to pay them."

As all the goblins had a directive to keep says ownership no matter what, they further drain the remaining fund left from the primary withdrawal for those concerned.

"If they are unable to pay with gold, silver and copper, I will take any items in the Vaults other than the one on family magic."

~~~
Following his words, columns of numbers appeared on a document on his desk. The first line cleared more than half the initial debt, 2,486,159,253G. The liquidation of any shares owned paid a further 868,235,486G. The third order was a decisive blow as the richest among them possess an old business, who finish drying the Vaults money.
With the further 568,497,458G, the balance was still short of 1,414,707,803G. Its still crushing debt was nearly cleared by the numerous items, artefacts, potions ingredients and the like accumulated from centuries by said families.
Left with only 367,486.5G to retrieve, he ponders for a moment, before declaring to the bloodshot eyes, battered breathes, goblins.
"At last, I will take over any land owned other than the primary land, starting from the wealthiest."
Thankfully for the goblin, it only needed one House to pay different farms and cottages they own on a large landmass, to clear the debt finally. The concerned Accountant, however, was far from pleased. With the last blow, the preeminent pureblood family just turned into poppers, without a knut left in it Vaults, nor items others that Heirlooms, with just an Apoticary but no means to supply it as the farms just changed of ownership. What was maddening for then was Alex only based the demand on the value of the land, not it content! They were still thousands Galleons worth of ingredients ready for harvest on them, not speaking of the fully furnished cottages!
~~~

Due to Dumbledore action, the British community' White Block side was dealt the harshest blow of history, driving 48 House to extinction as they have now, no means to assure their future.

~~~
As Alex didn't possess Vaults in Gringotts, the bank just lost a further 3,922,892,197G who will vanish from it hall; along with the 100G of the Weasley fine.
"Spring!"
Hearing the call, his House-elf appears to amount the now seething goblins.
"Call the other to clean..." Started him, before looking at the number of the Vault Gringotts moved everything in realtime thank to the enchantment of Gringotts. "... Vault 001011, begin with the Galleons, as there are the largest amounts, then look through the different items, there should be expanded trunks, gather as much a possible into them and clean the Vault. Once done, start to separate them in two piles. One for the useful, another for discarded items."
"Yes, master."
As the elf vanishes in a pop, Alex returns his attention to the gathered goblins looking ready to murder him from their loss. Among them, Kneebuster barely contains his temper. He had first lost Bloodbones to the boy, and now, his position was in danger after the landfall he had made on Gringotts' back.
But before any of them could respond, Alex snaps his fingers, activating the premade wards he instaled when they left him alone, not thinking him able to do anything in the remaining time. Those wards were two-folds. The first was a simple shielding one, working like a loop on a security camera, making appears as if all was normal. The second was a static field, trapping everyone, other than those with the registered magical signature.
~~~

Free to act as he wishes, he approaches Kneebuster. Looking at his gaze, he could see that the goblin, like all the other, were still alive, only their minds were trapped in their body, leaving them unable to react, making them aware of what was happening but not able to act.

Faking Take out a similar marble he used on Peter from his pocket, he put it on the goblin temple.

While trapped, all those able looks with horror as the bank Manager body immediately shrivel-up and turn to dust, leaving only a large cubic diamond, a nugget of unknown metal and another cube with a reversed shimmering Warhammer in along his armour.

Taking out the MR (Memories reader) he put the MC (memory cube) on it, after returning to the desk, making all the other goblins see what would happen.

As the ethereal hammer appears out of the cube once the device activated, he gives his first order.

"Show us the relation between your clan and Gindaxe Clan."

If he didn't trap them in their actual state, all the surrounding goblins would have whitened as the name of the particular clan. All goblins around the world know of the kinslayers, the reason how 'brethren fall' was create, the plunder and destruction of their kinds' clan.

The particular clan was despited as cancer for the Nation, and actively sought before finally eradicate them.

All look with horror, discovering the intimate relationship between the two clans, one was thriving in the light, the other in the darkness. They all see how Hammerfall clan rise in power, supported in the shadow by Grindaxe, feeding them the position of others clan while receiving a cut of the raided clan riches, ores, women, and knowledge.

The memories continue to pass until a meeting between Bloodbones and Kneebuster was revealed. There they learn of the fate of the Grindaxe clan in the hand of the Evans one, the destruction of the clan, at the coast of nearly all their own, before Bloodbones lost all connection with his land in Surrey.

From there, only minimal interaction was seen, corresponding with the moment that Hammerfall starts to lose it footing on the bank. Until a particular parchment made its way to Bloodbones and Kneebuster, the establishment of the Evans House by Lily Potter, and the confirmation that that specific Clan was in fact still alive.

From then, their scheme to rob the young Heir Potter, but more importantly, Evans, started. It showed them working on the contract Bloodbones would make the Heir sign to own all of the both House.

~~~
As the memories finally finish, all of the goblins forget their previous grievance against the Boy, now responsible for busting the traitor.
They were surprised, however when they all suddenly lost consciousness.
~~~

Now sure that not a single goblins would know what he was about to do, he asked a second thing from the soul trapped in the cube.

"I want all the name of House Accounts under the Hammerfall clan."

Taking an enchanted notepad with its pen, he bolted names after names as he read out loud the name of crest appearing along with the corresponding goblin. He wasn't surprised to see that most of the Dark families were under the accountants of the clan. His smile turns into a shark one when he sees the one of House black, Lestrange, and even on for Crouch, or several inmates of Azkaban.

-Must be Junior, it as if the Dorklord had a private line of Accountants for his followers.-

'Truly a goldmine.'

-Are you going to do what I think you are going to do.-

'You bet your furry ass; I will, those fucker do not need them. It not like I will allow the creation of Babymort.'

Looking through a few other memories, he takes out a block of wood from his storage, crafting a box with a silver plate. Inscribing 'Kneebuster; Hammerfall' on, he put the cube on, before shelving it on the cupboard in his storage, on the right side of the on of Peter.

Taking with him the armour, and the charred wooden runes, fried from their use, as the wards fall.

Exiting the room containing the passed out goblins, Alex made his way through the memorised way to Kneebuster office. Emptying everything, he used the dissimulated door present, leading him directly to the tunnel to the bowel of Gringotts.
