True to his words, Alex passed the following five days, a week since the outbreak, to consults with Saya and Shizuka and built machinery. While Alex had a general idea about some medical techs' working mechanic, having them clearly explain allowed him and CS to craft better magic equivalents. The medical bay saw a ridiculous upgrading in those days, putting to shame the world' best medical facilities.
During the process, Alex also crafted a set of different working machines. Once tests completed, those devices would help them to keep healthy. Alex easily accommodated the new fitness room through rapid construction and space expansion.
While they were busy developing those techs, Alex kept an eye on the outside world via the drones. Until then, none of the other five members of their group had awoken, nor any other humans, for the matter. Shizuka rapidly speculates that Rei case was only due to her already half-transformation to an Evans.
In the last five days, Alex had lured many awaken undeads to the gates, supplying them in mithril, ashes and mana crystals. With the available materials, Alex' 3D printers had already crafted a fleet of 113 drones, daily production of 20, whose already intrude in Inda, Russia and the surrounding European countries. To cover his absence, Alex crafted some automatons, send by Portkeys, gather the targetted supplies through the use of his storing devices, or pilot those drones from the security room, a new underground level.
Thankfully for him, several countries' automated weapon system was not picking the drones on their radar, too small, as a threat and allowed them to enter restricted aerial zones. The compound was buzzing with activity, even if the majority was due to magic constructs.

"Alright, I think we are good!" Shouted Alex excitedly, gathering the girls to his table in the library.
Alex device wasn't what they expected it to be, a simple wristwatch. While the tech wasn't still available in their world yet, they were already familiar with it, thank the one they and Alex wore. They were first confused in seeing nothing other than Alex, his wristwatch displayed on his wrist, and a 3D printer.
Seeing their face, Alex just grinned at them and a fews second later, the 3D printer biped, warning them its work done. Opening the door, Alex extracted a chip. Opening the slot on his wristwatch, he slides the chip in, updating the watch processor.
A new icon pop-up once the loading bar swift from red to green and forms a complete circle on the edge of the screen. Alex extracted the half expelled chip Alex double-click on the new icon.
All three girls looked bewildered at the holographic screen forming above the screen.

Alex grin widens, seeing the numbers similar to those displayed on his status, before taking a mana Crystal out of his storage and absorb it. All four watched with battered breath at the screen until the values start to rise on their own, shifting until 10 units were added with the status base.
Seeing the success of their three days of efforts, all four burst in cheers, and the girls glomped Alex, rapidly burying him under a dog pile of the three girls.

After the group celebrated their success, Alex rapidly inserts the chip into their watch, updating the device's mainframe, adding the new appli on it. As once, the girls double-clicked on it, displaying their status.

Several revelations appear to Alex as he looks at their stats. First was the fact that default stats for a mature Evans were around F rank; second, they were more or less balanced. But the most critical pieces of information he could gather, what the confirmation of the possibility to raise one stats through training.
Rei Stats were all the proof he needs, as it was highly improbable for Saya and Shizuka to share the same ENR stat while Rei did not. The higher parameter than Shizuka while she was younger only support the hypothesis.
"Alright, everything seems to work smoothly, and it's did solve our question as to the possibility of raising one stats throughout training. I doubt it will be as easy that using mana Crystal, more so later, but I think it should be the way to go.
If we become too reliant on Mana Crystal, we won't develop our skill, which would be a death sentence. That didn't mean we can't supply ourselves with the Mana Crystal either, as otherwise, we wouldn't be able to catch up with the undead." Alex grim tone on the second part of his speech made them frown.
"What wrong?" Asked Saya, feeling that there was something he wasn't telling them.
"This." Alex resumed the situation with a single word and two items. Both were Mana Crystal, but the difference was evident. The one on his right palm was habitual. I rank Mana Crystal, while the one on his left was another matter altogether.
The second Mana Crystal had the same shade, but the size was different, around a tenth larger than the I rank Crystal. "The automaton send the batch of collected Mana Crystal this morning, from the previous days. Among the collected Mana Crystal's, eighty of this one were present, the firsts H rank undead Mana Crystals. From the report, the first to appears was yesterday."
The previous festive mood was now a distant memory; discovering that H rank undead started to pop around only three or four days after the first, I rank ones was a worrying matter. The girls could easily understand what it means; undead was evolving fast.
How long would it take for other superior undeads to appear? Those monsters were already closing on Saya stats; what in few days? Would G rank start to appears? If that the case, wouldn't it mean that F rank would be in only six days, E rank in nine, or even lesser?
If the undead keeps evolving at this speed, it would only take them 25 days to evolve from I rank to A! They could, possibly, need to face Level 2 in less than a month time! Even Alex was still far from the peak of Level 1, and if it weren't for their early awaking and the protection of the wards on the island, they would have near to no chance of surviving.

"I think we need to change our plan. I was thinking of keeping the island hidden from the group, but I can't, not anymore. The more time will pass, and the less I will be able to assure the group's security. If they don't awaken before twelve days and D rank undead start to appears, them along the horde already released from their cocoons would overwhelm me, let alone you and let not speak about the others."
All three nodded at Alex words, knowing it would be foolish to keep the secret and unnecessarily risk their lives.
"What do you plan to do?" Asked Rei as she bites on her lips, not liking the situation and her helplessness.
"I think it would be best for me to raise my stats through the Mana Crystal until my lowest stats raise to C rank at least. That roughly 200 of I rank Mana Crystal, but I doubt my body would be able to take it. The best would be for me to go outside and hunt for H rank, following their units' value." On this, Alex immediatly absorbate the Mana Crystal on his left hand and open his apply on his wristwatch.
