This is All a Horrible Mistake!

The next day, a red sun was greeted by a purple sky.

Laying on the grass, with his belly against the grasses blades, Liu Wang Shu was about to wake up.

Yes, he was taken to seventh sanctuary through one of the portals.

Such sanctuaries were discovered on the tenth planet. It was one of the distant planets so far away from the sun that their civilization didn't discover it till after the first gene saint was sent out to explore space.

Because he was a Saint, he was able to remain alive in space for two hundred years without aging. There were many ranks. It went from an F class Warrior to an A class warrior with all letters In between. After the A class was the S class, which was short for Saint. The next stage after that was apparently named the Demi-god stage. However, no one had ever reached that point yet.

Regardless, once the saint arrived he discovered seven boxes that connected to seven different dimensions. They were brought back to their home world named Marth. However, when they opened

them up they discovered seven different portals to different worlds. Unfortunately, only the sixth sanctuaries had ever been survived in.

Yes, there was only one person who was predicted to live in the seventh sanctuary, and it was Liu Wang Shu.

His eyes flittered open as he found himself by a portal. However, the first thing he noticed was the purple sky! Only sanctuaries had purple skies and he was immediately intimidated. He jumped up off the floor and looked around.

Luckily, no monsters were lurking.

He was familiar with the monsters because of his training.

Such monsters contained gene eggs if you killed them, and they'd allow you to get a special skill after you ate one. They would give you either a tool, an ability, or a transformation. He, however, only had a gene right now! He had no way to defend himself if any monster came.

Liu Wang Shu got up and slowly tried to make his way over to the tree.

Unfortunately, the first thing he noticed was a thousand pairs of eyes staring at him.

One monster was even towering over the trees! It looked like a giant toad dragon. The kind that would eat a human like him in a second!

This didn't make any sense. Why would they give him a gene, and then send him to die in a sanctuary? He wasn't even sure which one he was in. Luckily, he remembered he had a watch on him that he got on school.

A measurement watch.

It wasn't a very complicated name; however, it was an extremely important device. It was able to measure the power levels of monsters, and let you know their rank, and type.

Regardless, he clicked on the button as it analyzed the monsters in front of him. There was a scale of F – G for the monsters in the sanctuaries, and there were five distinct types.

Nascent beasts were the weakest and were shown with a letter N on the watch.

Warrior beasts were stronger and would usually be extremely hard for a beginner to face. They required you reached at least F+ in the first sanctuary to fight the first rank mutants.

Next was the Mutant beasts. They were in fact only found in second sanctuary, and third sanctuary. In order to reach that point, you'd have to level up to peak E class to stand a chance.

The last two were sacred beasts, and divine beasts. They were monstrous and extremely hard for even saints to stand a chance against! Perhaps only a few saints in the world would dare go against a sacred beast in 6th sanctuary.

Divine beasts, on the other hand, were only found in the seventh. They were marked with a D on the watches system interface. However, when he looked down at the screen he noticed something odd.

Type: Dragon (D Class)

Estimated power level: G

Name: ??????

Lui Wang Shu gulped as he stood up and tried to find a way out of here.

He had no idea why they put him in the wrong portal.

"Let me out of here, please! I'm too young to die, please open the portal."

….

Back at base the scientists look into the interdimensional camera and sighed.

They could only vaguely see the boys shadow with the technology and were immediately distraught.

"Uhm, we need a volunteer. Who here is willing to go in there and grab the boy?"

The seven scientists all looked at each other and gulped.

It would be suicide if one of them was to enter.

"Uhm, how about we have next year's candidate bring back his body? Then we can say he died as a hero in a grand battle!"

The doctor laughed before he shut off the screen. Indeed, there was no reason for any of them to die for a mere student who just graduated. Apparently, the boy didn't even have a girlfriend yet, and he was already eighteen!

"Well, I think it's appropriate we at least send his family some more money, so word of this doesn't get out. In a few months, tell them that he died in the heat of battle."

The six scientists all laughed before they moved onto the next phase of the project.

….

Liu Wang Shu kept pounding on the portal as packs of monsters started approaching him. They were all drooling and seemed extraordinarily hungry. However, only one of them could go up to him, and they seemed torn on who should go.

There was one brave alpha who walked out of the pack.

The monster jumped towards him and Liu Wang Shu shut his eyes.
