CHAPTER : HUA CHANG'S REASON...

Hua Chang just finished his lunch in cafeteria when he received a notification showing 1200000 dollars credited in his account.

He wanted to purchase Evolution Gene as early as possible, so that he will not miss the best Gene out there. Miss Rou 'coincidentally' met him on his way to Gene storage office and tagged along. He guessed that, she knows about the 'fight' and had some doubts on his Identity.

Soon they reached a four story building which is the Gene storage office. F- Grade Evolution Genes are available at first floor. When they reached first floor office, there is no one inside expect the officer. It may be because lunch hours aren't finished yet.

The officer looked very old with full of white hairs showing his age and experience.

He looked at Hua Chang and asked " what do you want to purchase? " . Hua Chang said" I haven't decided yet, can you show me all the best Peak-Teir Evolution Genes for increasing Strength and Agility". Then he looked at Miss Rou and said" My ability can make me predict the path of attacks by focusing on the opponent's muscle movements at a microscopic level". Actually he can see through any kind of energy pattern and understand it's microstructure. He said that only to clear her doubts. Miss Rou believed what he said must be true or else it's impossible to score 100% in University Exams without being an Evolutioned and also his choice of Evolution Gene shown his need of strength and agility. This made her less suspicious about him. Miss Rou said " Mr. Officer can you bring Rare type Ocular Ability ( Eye related ) Evolution Gene which satisfies above requirements ,as it is the most appropriate Gene for my student". Old officer also understood that Hua Chang has Rare type Ocular Ability and thought he was a lucky student. Old officer then brought a box with Eye design and opened, about a hundred of tiny test tubes containing multiple coloured liquids came to their view.

During the catastrophe in the 19 th century it's not only the Survived Humans but also Animals and Plants are Mutated as well and are called Beasts. These Beasts can also Evolve naturally by accumulating sufficient energy in Core Crystal present in their head which also increases their intelligence with each Evolution. Some Beasts ( B -Grade and above) have intelligence that can rival Humans. These Beasts occupied other places outside the Sectors. So when a Beast is killed it's spirit enters the core Crystal and retains a minimal survival instinct, stronger the Beast the more it's instinct. That's the reason why Humans fuse Evolution Genes step by step Grade-wise to remove the possibility of becoming human puppet from backlash and to supress remaining survival instinct and make the spirit docile and become one with their Bloodline. Most of the Low Grade Beast spirits are stored by De-Crystallizing the Core Crystall into fluid, which is injected to become Evolutioned. The stronger the Beast, the harder it is to store spirit in the fluid form.

Hua Chang soon found what he wanted to get and selected it. Miss Rou and Old officer were puzzled by his choice and really want to know the reason behind it.They looked at each other both waiting for the other to question. Finally Old officer couldn't hold it in and asked " why did you select Illusionary Wolf with weak Illusion Ocular Ability Evolution Gene instead of the strongest Nether Lion with Nether Gaze Ocular Ability ?". Hua Chang saw that old man was asking earnestly, so he decided to tell the truth. He looked at their faces and said "because it is cute.."

Old officer:"...….."

Miss Rou:"....."

Hua Chang:" my little sister likes animals with soft fur.."

Old officer:"...."

Miss Rou: "..."

Hua Chang found that they are not believing him, he ignored their stares and injected Illusionary Wolf Evolution Gene into his blood after paying 1000000 dollars. Wolf spirit, when entered his blood found that it entered a Dark and Evil looking Abyss, it scared to even stand straight and became docile within seconds.

Old officer and Miss Rou suggested Hua Chang to take rest about an hour for the spirit to become docile and Fuse with his Bloodline. Hua Chang went to his dorm to get familiarize with his enhanced Abilities.
