Xiao Xie also didn't want to believe it but after seeing those kids being dragged out and later learn what happened to them, she couldn't help but wonder if there was some truth to it.

"But the kids were harshly punished for saying such a thing. Don't you think...?" She wanted to keep talking but she felt the temperature dropping, even if she was a hologram she was still scared, She could feel Xia Lin's anger raising so she wisely decided to shut up.

"En..." was all Xia Lin said. Although her father was heartless, she knew that it had something to do with mother's disappearance. But to kill her? that wasn't possible, or was it?

"Chang Gui attack have been prepared long before your marriage agreement by the look of it."

"I'm not surprised, father always plans ahead." Xia Lin replied

"But this means he knew you couldn't defeat Huo Hang army."

"A god fighting a Supreme Titan, if I won it would be weird." She added, no matter what she will always trust her father's decision. He lived longer than her, he knew the outcome. If she could defeat the Huo Hang army, her father could've been able to do it too.

This meant that her father's true mission was for her to marry He Lan. But what for? he hadn't contacted her or didn't even let his spy here contact her. Was she sent here to just be a wife?

No, she wasn't, this means that her father was waiting. But witing for what was the question? She needed to figure out.

Xiao Xie stayed silent leaving Xia Lin to think this through if she wanted her to know what she was thinking about she would have open her thought. It didn't matter because she will know sooner or later.

"I will be heading to Chang Gui, I will need contact with the spy but you can't be there. He Lan will sense you." Xia Lin said while having a thinking face
