A month had passed since Bai Hua returned to the castle. He was sweating profusely and was leaning on his sword gasping for air.
"Is that all you got?" said a mocking voice but the owner of the voice was clearly tired as well. Beads of sweat were rolling down from his temple. Bai Yur never thought that Bai Hua would have grown so much in strength in a mere month.
The moment he stepped out from the sacred grove after his initiation ritual, Bai Hua's strength had been increasing by leaps and bounds. And Bai Hua had been sparring with his father every day because his father insisted on testing his "godly" soul.
Imsong had come up with a concoction of lies to keep everyone out of their secret. Bai Hua gained back his normal appearance after he stepped out of the Lotus space. Even the Witch Bone had resumed its normal appearance, that of an anklet of bones, turning into an ivory blade when he was in combat. Imsong had blatantly lied to Bai Yur's face telling him that she had given the anklet as a gift to Bai Hua before his initiation. And Bai Hua had nodded to everything she had said.
Bai Yur had believed everything she had said. There was no reason not to believe her. He merely thought that the Head Shaman had shown favouritism to his son when he did not receive such gifts at the time of his own initiation.
"One more round," begged Bai Hua to his father even though it was taking all his efforts to stand.
His father still remained undefeated even with his awakened soul.
No wonder he was the Lord of Soaring Kingdom. His father was unrelenting and ruthless, never giving an inch to him even though he was merely a kid.
But if enemy spies were watching this father-son fight, they would be crying inside. Who was the Lord of Soaring Dragon? Many of their kings and lords had tried to win him over, threatened him, sent assassins but he had ignored them and got rid of them all without even blinking an eye. But now he was sweating as he was fighting his 14-year-old son.
Some assassins were also sent out to get rid of the heir of the kingdom. There had been no successful attempts but they always thought that there was a chance as he was merely a kid who still had not developed his spiritual powers as compared to these professionals.
The assassins would probably have packed their things and leave the kingdom with a "mission impossible" note sent to their masters if they saw this right now.
"Alright!" shouted The Lord of Soaring Dragon and they continued to fight.

"You say his son is becoming abnormally stronger?" said a divine looking man, lazily.
"Yes, master. Our spies have sent us news" respectfully replied a black-robed young man.
"Mmmmm... Tell them to keep observing the son."
"Yes, master." Saying this the young man disappeared.
"This should be fun. Are you not interested?" asked the man towards a glowing orb that was lying on the table next to his chair.
"Indeed. But don't make any moves for now. We will wait until he grows up," said a charming voice that was coming from inside the orb.
Then it added,
"Don't get excited everytime a prodigy appears in that kingdom. You always get excited when it comes to that person."
