A Broken Home

Whereas guessing the reason for the increase in his "TASTE" sense was much simpler, because he had only eaten one poisonous red fruit which was left in his leafy pouch and the bowl of vegetable soup provided by the Soma Villagers.

"I think that finally I am starting to get a little hang of the changes that are taking place in my head", June whispered while nodding in his heart.

Then he sat up and started looking around for Tinum, who was sleeping right by his side all this time.

"I really could not see you there for a second buddy."

Let's not forget that June's senses had increased, still it took him around seven seconds to find Tinum in this not so big wooden hut. Usually June would have ignored it if it was yesterday before his dream, but now in his mind he kept a notice of this happening in his memory.

June opened his palm in front of the little Tinum on which he climbed just like he had done earlier. After looking at the interesting platinum eyes of the Tinum for a second, June put him back on his left shoulder.

As June went out of his wooden hut, a few distance away from his door, he noticed Maka Soma who looked like he was getting ready for his normal day's work, but June understood that he was keeping a lookout just outside his wooden hut for villagers especially village kids that may cause disturbance to the June or vice versa.

Upon noticing that June had come out of his wooden hut, Maka Soma started to walk towards him. In his right hand there was an axe of around one meter length and a half a foot long knife.

These were the two things that June had asked from Maka Soma before he went to sleep yesterday.

One was a simple wood cutting axe with one meter long handle and the second one was a simple knife which was around fifteen centimeter long with one side blunt and the other side sharp.

Although these were not the first rated products but they looked sharp enough, and he really could not complain. Actually, he felt pretty lucky that the village leader Maka Soma would actually trust him with these sharp instruments but it could not be helped since he would need something to protect himself in this hilly forest.

Actually, this was the first time June had held an axe in his hands and even the face of Maka Soma had an awkward expression when he saw the way June was holding the axe, but June simply smiled at him and said 'thank you' in their language, to which Maka simply nodded.

After June took these two sharp instruments, Maka Soma lead him towards the western part of the Soma village. Upon reaching the boundary June saw that almost at the end there was a medium sized broken wooden hut of around five meter length and four meter breadth, but no roof on it.

June kept looking at this broken wooden hut for a minute, then turned around and looked at the Maka Soma and said

"This will do"

To which Maka Soma simply nodded, then turned back and started walking towards the Soma Village and left the June alone with his broken hut.

June turned back to have a proper look at his new broken residence and sighed softly. After that he turned his head towards his left shoulder on which little Tinum was coiled comfortably and said

"Okay, now let's go back to your original home."

The little Tinum just simply stared at him with his interesting platinum eyes.

With Tinum on his left shoulder, June started walking towards the west.

After walking for around fifteen to twenty minutes, June reached the small waterfall. Along the way June had collected some hanging branches from the tree and intertwined them into a rope, which he wore around his waist. This rope worked like a belt on which he could easily fit the knife and hang the axe.

Along the way June had used his "SIGHT" sense and "HEARING" sense a few times in order to confirm the safety of the path that he was travelling on, the only thing was that, he had to stand still without moving as he was not used to moving while his body felt totally numb without any sense of touch.

Upon reaching the waterfall, June washed his face in the pond first in order to freshen up after all the sun had just risen behind him and he was still getting used to this place.
