Going To Tell Grand Master

Junior brother slowly shook his head and then raised his arm again... probably to check my temperature.

"I'm not sick!" I avoided his outstretched hand and glared at him angrily. "What I'm saying is completely correct!"

Finally, I seemed to have caught junior brother's attention. Instead of the suspicion and disbelief in his eyes, it was now an eerie seriousness.

"What do you mean, senior brother?"

"It's exactly what you heard," I confirmed.

"How?"

I sighed and then sat at the foot of his bed. "I don't know how. But I know that that person managed to poison the both of us... and maybe others." And that he's target 1.

Wait. If he's target 1... are there other targets?

My eyes grew wide before I snapped to attention when junior brother looked about ready to speak.

Junior brother gave me a weird look. "Why don't you know? Can't your alarm system find out for you?"

Oh sh*t!

I looked at him and had a straight face as I said, "It only works sometimes."

Sighing, junior brother looked at me. "Do you have any clues?"

It was my turn to sigh as I slowly shook my head. "None."

After a few seconds of silence, junior brother slid off of the bed, his bare feet making soft slapping sounds as they hit the floor. He began to walk towards the door.

Shocked, I couldn't react quick enough and, before I could even blink, junior brother was half-way towards the door. "Where are you going!?" I said, my eyes widened in surprise. D*mn, he's fast!

"To find who poisoned me," he glanced back at me with an expression that just screamed, 'duh'.

I scrambled up and made my way towards junior brother. "Wait!"

He turned to me and raised an eyebrow.

"You can't just go like that!" I waved my arms around wildly. "What if you alert that person or something!"

"So?"

"So? So!" I couldn't believe it. "We need a plan!"

Junior brother sighed and turned to me. He placed a hand on my shoulder and shot me a pitying look.

The f*ck! I'm the sane one here. What about you!?!

I slapped his hand away. "You don't understand! The person who poisoned us-"

"What?" junior brother looked at me, his eyebrows raised high up and his eyes wide. "What do you mean 'us'?"

"Oh, I thought I mentioned it.... the same person that poisoned you had poisoned me."

"That changes everything!" Junior brother looked at me with a solemn expression. Finally, he gets it!

"Great!" I clapped my hands, "Let's get to planning then!"

"It changes nothing!" Junior brother slowly shook his head. "We just have to find that traitor and then tell Grand Master about it."

"Grand Master could be the traitor!"

"Grand Master? Really?" Junior brother gave me another pitying look. "He was the one who understood that your dancing was a new technique."

Oh.

That changes everything then.

"Let's tell him," I decisively said. "I'll bring my diary."
