Monsters: these are creatures that have become more than what they were originally created as. A rabbit growing a horn; a horse blazing in fire; and a hamster with a snake as its tail.

A man, more powerful than the next. Incredibly so that the gap between them becomes immeasurable. Clay is such a man. Born in modern Earth, called to be a Hero, but rapidly grows to be a monster in the eyes of fellow men, and other creatures.

One day, when those that he held dear were hurt, monster or not, did not matter anymore. For they had awakened what truly is, The Real Monster.

The fear of countless men, gods, spirits, and demons, gathered of one single being.

"Blame me! Hate me! Fear me and tremble!"

The Real Monster

"Thank you for attending this meeting, esteemed leaders of this empire. As emperor, I have been 'sick' and bedridden for a decade and a half and you have all been kind enough to show your support of our regime. I thank you, truly.

"Today, I have called all of you to propose to expedite the unification of the whole world under our banner for the absolute peace of our planet.

"Some of you may have already suspected it, but yes, the gods of our world have ceased to exist. The heroes within each of your camps may have felt their connection to the god's blessings to have been cut off. The truth is, that our Lord Clay, my son-in-law, had ended their reign as soon as he was able.

"Now, under his banner, we as an Empire and as people united under one goal of survival and prosperity, once again implore upon each and everyone here to continue to work for that same goal that has yet to change since the establishment of this empire!
