Monsters: these are creatures that have become more than what they were originally created as. A rabbit growing a horn; a horse blazing in fire; and a hamster with a snake as its tail.

A man, more powerful than the next. Incredibly so that the gap between them becomes immeasurable. Clay is such a man. Born in modern Earth, called to be a Hero, but rapidly grows to be a monster in the eyes of fellow men, and other creatures.

One day, when those that he held dear were hurt, monster or not, did not matter anymore. For they had awakened what truly is, The Real Monster.

The fear of countless men, gods, spirits, and demons, gathered of one single being.

"...and so, building on that principle, son, I get to be in multiple places at the same time. Sharing my knowledge, experience, and powers like on a computer network! For now, I can probably handle just one sub-connection. In time, I plan to send multiple reincarnations throughout real dimensions! What do you think, son?"

"I must be honest, Pops, this idea is insanely good! Not only will you gain so much from having to live multiple lives at the same instant, you also experience multiple things and cultivate to maybe even new heights imaginable!"

"That's right! However, this idea is still experimental, hence, Project Phoenix. I won't be implementing it on anyone else but myself at first."
