Monsters: these are creatures that have become more than what they were originally created as. A rabbit growing a horn; a horse blazing in fire; and a hamster with a snake as its tail.

A man, more powerful than the next. Incredibly so that the gap between them becomes immeasurable. Clay is such a man. Born in modern Earth, called to be a Hero, but rapidly grows to be a monster in the eyes of fellow men, and other creatures.

One day, when those that he held dear were hurt, monster or not, did not matter anymore. For they had awakened what truly is, The Real Monster.

The fear of countless men, gods, spirits, and demons, gathered of one single being.

"Blame me! Hate me! Fear me and tremble!"

The Real Monster

I was suddenly visited by a person, familiar to me. It was the village chief that Giselle had as a contact when she disguises herself to visit the commoners. She was truly like her father. The chief was careful. He softly knocked three times. I was resting my eyes when I heard his knock and so I opened the door slowly. When I saw his face, I almost couldn't help but rejoice and express it on the spot!

Finally, Giselle's gotten wind of my abilities, even if they're merely rumors. I have to make this work somehow!

"Hello. Good evening. I have already closed my shop. If you need any medicine, please come visit tomorrow instead. I'm also tired. Please let me rest."

Hearing my words, the village chief seemed troubled, but he resolved himself to mention Giselle's name.

"Ah, please pardon me. It's just that her highness the Princess, Giselle, has need of your services and sent me here to secretly inform you."
