Chapter 18: Morning preparations

Hello, I am Sugi, age 12.

'Hey, hey, good morning.'

'How are ya?'

'What should we drink?'

And these are my split personalities.

Today is the 29th of April and also the date of travel set by the school for a school trip over to America island as a class reunion after graduation half a year ago. I had always heard that America was a lazy place but have never been there. We did a few research on the place, but I mostly wasn't interested in their road elevators and calories of food they consume on a day to day bases.

I opened my eyes and got out of bed to the only jump over to the one next to me, the one Anna was sleeping on. I snuck into her blanket and slid myself behind her. I tapped at her cheek with my right second finger. She didn't wake up, so I tapped again. I let her be as she moved a little. I got out of the bed with a slight smile and went outside the room to the kitchen area that connects to the lounge and front door.

This is our house, our small house. We bought it about two weeks ago and got married two months ago after we started earning a sustainable income. Most of our income use to come from gaming but that now has become something of not to care. Most of the income came from manga sales and Babingo uploads which became popular in recent years for videos. Babingo allows you upload what you like and get money for it like the historical failure, YouTube. Both Anna and I are working full time as mangakas, having three weekly series ongoing series and one monthly series each. For me, two of those are action time god series, a dimensional world jump travel. I also have a monthly series based back in the 2000s of a friendly world criminal that desires freedom and the absolute cold-hearted police detective. Anna, on the other hand, works on a; sports manga based in tennis; a life story of a zero to hero story about a good star designer and builddr; and galaxy travel. As for her monthly, she decided to write a depressing as hell story about a kid in the 2010s focusing on tennis, telling a tale where a person lost everything. Due to our tight workspace, we tend to go online to exercise inside the ball at least three times a day to keep the body active and not fall behind. Whenever we're in trouble, we would generate and review each other's chapter to see possible improvements before working together on separate on our works.

I really like the house I am living in right now. It's a three-story house if you decide to count in the underground area for gaming. The game area below takes up about the same area as the main second floor. The game area is separated into three areas; the toilet with the shower, the pool and the highly air ventilated ballroom like the pool. The main floor is the second floor where includes; manga area which is next to the bedroom, tv area, kitchen, and office. The third floor is the garden where our four-rabbit jump and play around. An auto- collecting and farming system is set up for the small farm of fruits for the rabbits there. The house was designed by both of us and was originally part of a chapter we worked on half a year ago just after the graduation from school. The island we're living on is a thin dirt layered on the base of second-floor island with free license travel. This island allows free travel to islands. For the most part, this island wonders around slowly around borders, changing in course whenever it's close to another object.

I went to the kitchen and made two coffees and left it there to cool down as I went downstairs to get my morning shower. I got out to see Anna waiting for her turn while her left hand held some change of clothing. She walked in, and I went up to grab my coffee off the stone top of the kitchen and bring it to the wooden lounge table. I opened the grid that shows the listed items in the fridge and collected the materials that want as I walked over to the kitchen. I placed my palm on the fridge, and the listed items came out from the side in a light wooden box with the top missing onto the stone surface that's below the stove. I turn the stove on and cracked four eggs and added a bit of salt. The slices of bacon were added alongside the two large whole slices of Salmon. I put the fire at low and juiced out some lemon and mixed it with some mayonnaise. The cooking for the eggs, bacon, and fish was just about right as I slide them inside two plates in equal proportions. I got the plates to the dinner table in the lounge at just about the time Anna got out.

"Time to eat."

"Ya."
