The students of class Jupiter were all formed upon the large oval field of Exaimistís, it was the training field of the legendary warriors before them. drakios stood in the middle - is not short nor tall, he was just the average height person. Class Jupiter was the leading section in all of the academy; it was the section for the gifted vassals and so the Olympians themselves were in the section. Drakios, being the vassal of Prometheus and having no ability other than forethought wondered his attendance in the group of people.
"Now before we start everything else," started the teacher. " Everyone should introduce themselves, let's start from the stars and the vassals of the gods of the Mount Olympus - The Olympians!"
One by one, the summoned students walked up the stairs starting from the white-haired student council president with the most extravagant looks out of all of them.
"Let me introduce myself, for all of those lower beings who don't know my name. I am Joules Caesar; Student Council President and your beloved prince of this great empire!' the student council president said, suddenly everyone was obliged to bow their heads towards the athartian prince.
"Please, raise your heads," said Joules. The audience did so and everyone stood normally and he sat on one of the chairs settled on the stage. The students in the crowd started to murmur to each other, telling rumours about Joules and of how powerful he was.
The next person to take the podium was a guy who looked really anxious and sweated too much. With the spectacles he was wearing, he looked like a nerd and a man that was not supposed to be in that group of individuals.
"Uhh... hello," said the person who looked like he was bathed in the rain.
He was shaking although he tried to keep his posture straight in front of all the crowd.
"My name is Joseph Aurelius, your student council vice president," he said, with that limited amount of words, way limited compared to the student council president before him, he proceeded to sit on the chair beside Joules.
He slowly walked towards the chair but before he could, he was pulled back by one of the student council members.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" said Joseph, crying in pain while he was being dragged by his hair.
"What's the big deal?" asked he, then the member closed in on to Joseph's ear to whisper something. Afterwards, he went back to the podium to say something,
"Oh and I'm Poseidon's vassal," he said. The look on the crowd's face showed that they already knew.
Joseph Aurelius looked back at the student council member and gave her a thumbs-up sign, then proceeding to his chair. After time passed, the rest of the Olympians vassals were introduced and so were the others that weren't and thus came the time when it was Drakios' turn to introduce himself.
"Hello everyone, I'm Drakios Viservius and I'm the vassal of the god Prometheus, so nice to meet you all!"
Then another wave of murmurs came after his speech:
"Oh, so that's why he was so prepared last time."
Once it was the time that he leaves the stage, he had one final glance at the roster of Olympians, only to notice that one of them was missing - Athena.
At the end of the day, he went back to the dormitories to find Maria there. He wasn't able to see her for much of the day because she was in another location.
"How's your day?" asked Drakios, putting down his items. Maria was there, sitting on the sofa, he looked at Drakios and replied,
"Very casual, I guess that's what happens when you're in the school's last section - Pluto."
"I guess so, after all, you looked like a falling ragdoll that day during the test," joking said Drakios. "But, we should be thankful we survived that."
"Well if it wasn't for you, we would've died along with the others," said Maria.
The atmosphere seemed the usual but he knew there was something different going on.
"By the way, what's that bandage on your shoulder? Are you alright?" asked Drakios.
She looked at what he was talking about and quickly replied,
"Ah, it's nothing, I just fell from a tree earlier while trying to help a cat. Little feline just won't come to me."
Drakios smirked it out but he knew there was something deeper than just that, apart from having the ability of forethought from Prometheus, he was an expert at psychology and at many other branches of knowledge - he was intelligent.
"Maria's body language, there's something about it, there's something she's not telling me," Drakios thought.
"Here goes the detective again, one of the reasons why I didn't regret being the god inside of you," said Prometheus.
10 Days Ago - Egyptian Province, Athartha
Inside the outpost of the Athartian military base was the governor of the Egyptian province of the Athartian Empire.
The door began to rumble with knocks, it sounded like it was an urgent reason for the cause of that loud banging. The governor walked towards the door and opened it with swift speed.
"What!?"
"Governor!" said a soldier covered with blood and wounds all over his body. "It has turned into a revolution! The Egyptians are growing in numbers."
"Form the legions! We're going to face them and suppress this peasant revolution!" ordered the governor.
"As you ordered sir!" replied the soldier, quickly heading off.
In about a short amount of time, the legions were already formed and have started marching towards the centre of the revolution.
Cairo, Egypt
About ten thousand troops were now stationed outside the walls of the city. The athartian commander could already hear the screams inside the city walls and clashing of swords between the revolutionaries and the legionaries. From over the horizon, the tall pyramids of Giza were visible.
"Remember! This is nothing but a small revolt of peasants wielding sharp weapons! All of you are experienced warriors of this great atharthian empire and you wouldn't want to humiliate yourselves by being defeated by mere barbarians? Victory is what you want! Victory is what the emperor wants! Now let's march in there and slaughter those horrendous pigs!"
The troops began to pour down into the city, they started to enter the battlefield and killed those who oppressed them.
With their advantage in weapons and armour, they tore down everyone who dare fought them the commander had ordered them to show no mercy, to show the Egyptians the power of the Athartians.
After a hard fought battle by the Egyptians, a lot of them were killed and some were captured and became prisoners.
One peasant was made to appear before the commander himself to be interrogated.
"Speak! Slave!" said the athartian soldier who was holding the rope to which the prisoner was tied to.
"You cannot stop us! We will gain our independence and the gods will be there to guide us!" said the prisoner right before his head was cut off after being ordered by the commander.
"That slave, how dare he talk like that to the governor?" said the soldier who executed the slave.
"Speaking of your gods, peasant, your gods were long vanquished by the great emperor, way back before," said the governor.
In the streets of Cairo, where many of the soldiers were wandering and checking if there was still anyone living under the pile of bodies on the road.
During the night, the lights were limited for only the torches contributed to most of the brightness in the city and so was the moon.
It was midnight and everything started to glow very bright that it woke up every inhabitant of that city, the governor was also distracted by this and stood from his bed.
"What is happening?"
"Governor!" shouted the soldiers, knocking on his door. When he opened the door, he looked to the sky to see a tall pillar of light reaching the heavens, glowing from the tip of The Great Pyramid of Giza. In just a moment, all the brightness had ceased.
"What was that?"
"Governor, look," said a soldier, pointing towards the desrts where a large number of individuals were walking towards them, walking slower than the average human.
"Dear humans! Your time has come! This land will soon be purged and in control of the great Amun-Ra!"
"Who is that?" asked the Governor, talking about the being floating in mid-air and leading the army.
"Sir, that's...," unable to answer the Governor's question with his face oblivious of any hope. "We must run now!" hurriedly running towards the exit of the city to the other side where other soldiers followed him as well.
"Where are you going? I haven't lead you this far to cower in fear!" screamed the governor.
Upon looking back to the deserts, the governor was suddenly struck with a kick to the chest and immediately was blown to the walls of the city. The being slowly walked towards him and grasped his neck, strangling him.
"What disrespect! It seems that you have forgotten of my name!" said the being in a deep voice. A crack sounded right after governor's neck was broken due to the sheer strength of the being, killing him in an instant.
"The army of the undead will bring terror upon the land of the living, for I - Anubis, have returned to the land of the living for the glory of Amun-Ra!"
