As he entered the forest he briefly debated whether or not he should wear his PJ's but ultimately decided as he removed them once more that they would offer little protection so it was best he save them for later, plus if he was to use his [Fire Cloak] skill they would be destroy almost instantly.
Utilizing his perfect skills as a hunter, he silently entered the forest heading directly north towards those blurry shapes he had seen. Checking his map, he discovered that his earlier hypothesis about expanding the discovered area was right, for as he entered the dark area of the map a circular area 1 foot around him was instantly revealed with each step he took. However at present 1 foot was useless for long distance reconnaissance so he continued using it to view his rear.
Walking through the woods he remained silent, slowing his breath as he walked through the trees leaving the barest of signs. Usually he was capable of traveling at a hundred times this speed, while remaining silent like an unseen ghost, but at present with his basic stats induced weak physique this was the best that he was capable of if he wanted to remain undetected.
Traveling at a steady pace, after roughly 40 minutes he neared the area where he had seen the blurry shapes moving. Slowing his pace to a crawl he darted from tree to trees like a shadow, hiding any signs of his presence as he carefully circled around to the left, in order to remain downwind to prevent them from detecting his scent.
As he neared the blurry shapes he lowered himself to the ground and began to slowly crawl towards them as he headed into a nearby bush. Peering out from within the confines of the leafy bush he finally was able to clearly make out that the blurry shape were in fact strange looking rabbits.
Unlike normal rabbits these giant rabbits all had blood red fur, stood over 2 feet high, and upon closer examination all had a small glistening fruit atop their heads, growing up from between their two floppy ears.
"Hmm, what do we have here?"
"[god sight]!"
Name: Bryan
Race: Monster
Race Type: Rabbit Variant (Red Berry Rabbit)
Level: 3
"A [Red Berry Rabbit], so this is a monster" he thought as he continued to examine the blood red rabbit closely. It appeared these low-level monsters were probably herbivores as they were hopping from bush to bush eating clusters of reddish berries that seemed to grow wild.
Slowly counting, he determined there were roughly 26 monster rabbits feeding on the various berry bushes. Returning to Bryan the nearest Red Berry Rabbit, he quietly activated his only discovery skill with a whisper.
"[ANALYZE]!"
[Rank] - Common
[Red Berry Rabbit][Lv. 3] - A rabbit type fruits monster indigenous to Big Dipper Valley.
HP: 350\350
MP: 100\100
"This rabbit is at level 3 and has more than 3 times as much health as me plus it's not alone!"
Continuing to check more Red Berry Rabbits with his analyze skill revealed that most of the rabbits nearby were level 3 while at least 8 rabbits were at level 4.
"Hmm, although I am currently protected by the [Superior Blessing Of The Stargod] it would be best if I don't rely on its protection, in order to avoid learning any bad habits. It would be best if I act as if I don't have this safety net."
Deciding it would be wise to avoid the danger of this herd of blood-red rabbit monsters Salvatore slowly crawled backwards out of the bush like an earthworm.
As his head emerged from the leafy shrub he suddenly froze hearing a sound behind him.
"MUEKI!"
Still frozen he slowly turned his head inching towards the strange sound he had heard. Widening his eyes in surprise he discovered to his amazement a Red Berry Rabbit less than a foot away from his waist staring at his naked posterior with a curious eyes.
"Shit" he thought "I was so careful, I kept one of my eyes focused on the map display at all times so how did this little fellow sneak up on me?"
"[god sight]!"
Name: Gary
Race: Monster
Race Type: Rabbit Variant (Red Berry Rabbit)
Level: 3
"Of course, the fourth one. Leave it to a "Gary" to mess everything up, Fucking Gary!"
In Salvatore's entire life, he had met three individuals who had been incredibly annoying. They had all inadvertently caused hundreds of problems for the organization, one had even tried to turn rat, going to the D.A. with recordings he had made. Of course like the typical idiot he was, he did not realize that the organization was not the tiny group of his past.
Thanks to Salvatore, its shadowy reach now extended all the way to the highest office of the nation. Being a federal employee nowadays meant you were essentially an employee of the organization. Before he even set foot in the building, Salvatore had gotten a call personally from the D.A. himself.
These three incredibly annoying, incredibly stupid individuals had all been named Gary. It had been almost 5 years since the last one, but now it seemed the "Gary Curse" had returned, manifesting its fourth incarnation as a cute adorable, Red Berry Rabbit.
Cocking his head to the side inquisitively, his cute nose wiggling, as one of his paws reached up and scratched one of its floppy ears, Salvatore couldn't help thinking despite the fact that it was a monster, it was rather cute, until suddenly "Gary" seemed to come to a decision. With a mischievous glint in his big eyes, he suddenly leaped forward lightning fast and immediately Salvatore instinctively tried to dodge using [Blink] but his reaction time and reflexes like the rest of him had been reduced to the level of and average human which were easily outpaced by that of a speed type monster like the red berry rabbit so unfortunately Gary quite easily managed to bit down hard on Salvatore's exposed behind.
"CHOMP!"
As the sharp teeth sunk into his soft rear-end, a large negative red zero appeared above his head.
"-0!"
"AHHHHH, IL MIO CULO (My Ass)" Thought Salvatore as he suppressed the urge to scream while he angrily jumped to his feet, infuriated by the rabbit monsters insolent action. Reaching behind him he quickly grabbed the head of his vicious fluffy assailant, applying pressure to the sides of its mouth at the point where the jaw met its skull, prying the rabbit off swiftly.
Grasping firmly one of "Gary's" long feet, his swung the thrashing rabbit hard against the ground, angrily cursing mentally "DIE BASTARDO PELOSO (Furry Bastard) DIE, DIE, DIE, FUCK YOU GARY!!!" each hit causing a red digit to blossom above Gary's head.
"-40!"
"-38!"
"-40!"
Treating him as though he were a furry club, Salvatore swung Gary around angrily, like nighttime fireworks he caused hundreds of negative red digits to bloom above Gary's head. Finally with a mighty swing, he tossed Gary with all his might hurling him at a nearby jagged boulder.
As the flying rabbit crashed upon the boulder with a loud distinctive "SPLAT" ,a bright even larger, negative yellow number flashed above his head signifying a critical hit, as the last of Gary's HP was expended.
"-80!"
Instantly upon Gary's death, his remains radiated a sparkle of multicolored lights, that materialized into a few shining items which dropped along with it to the ground, while a tiny thin strand of golden mist flowed into his body.
