One Strike, One Kill

Seemingly without concern of this impending danger Salvatore remained unmoving, frozen in his place before he calmly faced towards the large troop of blood crazed Mango Monkeys.

Reaching up with his right hand, he reflexively straightened his nonexistent tie as he slightly spreading his feet before he calmly spoke.

"Passi Fantasma Tempista!" [Ghost Storm Steps]!

Then taking a single, seemingly casual step forward he suddenly faded from existence before reappearing once more as a pair of identical individuals who then both took a second step causing both Salvatore's to fade away then reappear doubling again.

Each step he took caused the number of Salvatore's to double until in a matter of seconds the tree was filled with hundreds of Salvatore's.

Each Salvatore would suddenly appeared like a ghost next to a Mango Monkey then make a casual, lightning quick slash before with another single step splitting into two more Salvatore's which would head towards two more Mango Monkeys and repeat the process.

As the two new Salvatore's disappeared the Mango Monkeys they had appeared next to would suddenly collapsed, plummeting from the tree in two separates pieces.

This terrifying process only lasted for less than a minute, yet in a mere 60 seconds hundred of Mango Monkeys lost their lives to the heartless blood red blade in Salvatore's hand. This was Salvatore's true potential unleashed in a casual manner.

Using this special movement technique which he had devised he could endless split into hundred of clones in a matter of seconds. Of course each clone would only last for a few seconds but they would retain 100% of his strength and Salvatore at 100% was more than enough strength to easily dispatch any individual with a single move.

As the last Mango Monkey died with its hand still raised the countless Salvatore's faded like smoke in the wind while the real Salvatore appeared several hundred feet from where he had started, next to the final Mango Monkey.

With a single step Salvatore appeared on the ground then proceeded to quickly collect the many sparkling coins which had rained along with the slain Mango Monkey troop.

After he had finished gathering his shiny loot he then began to gathered the hundreds of Mango Monkey corpses, forming a large pile of severed heads and decapitated corpses.

Once he had finished gathering the corpses he quickly began to process them like a factory, extracting their Sparks before breaking them down into crafting materials. With his work done he swiftly headed onwards into the depths of the Valley.

A true inescapable specter of doom, he swiftly traveled through the woods expiring any monsters he detected, some were in large groups while others were alone, yet all who encountered him were killed by Salvatore in a single, lightning quick move, so fast that they were already dead before their remains hit the ground.

Yet despite the large amount of Sparks and crafting materials he acquired, no matter how far he traveled he still failed to discover a single trace of waters. As the sun began to set he decided to head back to the Archway and continue his search tomorrow.

As he raced across the Valleys rolling terrain he only paused to gather some firewood and fruit along the way back. After quickly traversing the distance of several miles in the short span of 10 minutes he finally arrived at the Archway.

Tossing some of the firewood he had gathered into the fire pit from yesterday, he flicked a [Candlelight] flame towards the base of the pile, and soon had a roaring warm blaze. Taking out some of the different meats he had acquired from the days hunt, he spitted them and placed them atop the fire to slowly roast.

Reclining against the smooth Archway, he poured out from his [Spatial Storage] the days total harvest of Sparks. The ground was quickly covered in several large piles of hundreds of different Sparks like a miniature glittering prismatic mountain range.

As he sorted thru the piles he would recalled the exact encounter he had had with the specific monster the Spark he had picked up was harvested from. Each individual Spark represented one of the many new types of monsters he had encountered during the days eventful hunt.

Besides the large troop of Mango Monkeys he had found a few Pineapple Porcupine's, a vicious level 17 Banana Bear, dozens of Cherry Chipmunk scurry's, and several nests of pinkish Strawberry Snakes.

However the most monster-like monsters he had encountered was the RPGs traditional slimes. Of course unlike normal slime these ones were strangely made of fruit flavored gelatin.
