( THE LAND OF WAVES PART-23 ) TRAINING AND MEASURES

after Naruto and his team annihilated 'mountain wolf bandit group', the whole land of waves was engulfed by a wave of happiness, common peoples were celebrating, because from now on their lives will be filled with lights.

// gatou's mansion //

after Gatou came to know that the bandit group in which he invested so much money has been annihilated by a group of leaf shinobi, he lost his calm and a wave of anger build up in his body, the flames were threatening to pour out from his eyes and eventually he was not able to control himself and shouted with anger in his scream.

Gatou: AAAAAAAHHHhhhhhh!!!!

hearing Gatou's the guards standing on the door shudder and their back went cold.

after screaming Gatou calmed down a little, after thinking for a while a vicious expression appears on his face and he left the room in a hurry.

after leaving the room he took the stairs and went down, after crossing around five floors he reached a hall which was completely dark, there was only one source of light which was coming from the room at the end of the hall, he approached the door, he stood there for a while before knocking.

'KNOCK! KNOCK!'

after a while, a dark voice came from inside.

'COME IN'

gatou slowly opens the door and went in, inside there was a man sitting there in a lotus meditation pose, the man had shoulder length black hairs and a deep scar on his face, he was wearing a white kimono and the air/aura around him was gloomy, time to time his body was emitting a vicious pulse of chakra.

seeing the man Gatou kneeled and said.

Gatou: Daichi-sama, there is a problem.

Daichi opened his eyes and asked in a cold voice.

Daichi: what! problem.

Gatou: the 'mountain wolf bandit group', which you have created was annihilated.

Daichi: what! they were killed, what about my younger brother.

Gatou: Takafumi-sama has also fallen in that battle.

for a brief moment, there was a cold silence in the room and the next moment whole room was under the pressure of an intense killing intent. feeling the killing intent gatou's back went cold.

Daichi: WHICH! BASTARD DID IT.

Gatou answered in a shaking voice.

Gatou: i...it was a group leaf shinobi. consisting of one jounin and three genins.

Daichi: what, only four peoples were able to kill the entire bandit group, Gatou tell me what is the name of that jounin.

Gatou: according to our spy in the village, his name is Kakashi Hatake.

Daichi: so it was Kakashi of the Sharingan, the man who had copied 1000 jutsus, the copy ninja of the village hidden in the leaves, no wonder Takafumi, died by his hands.

Daichi: where are they residing right now?

Gatou: currently they are in Tazuna's house.

Daichi: prepare for the war, we are going to attack the village in two weeks, tell all your men to come back. they will pay for my brother's death.

hearing this a vicious light flashed in Gatou's eyes and he left after nodding.

Naruto was sitting in a meditative pose under a tree. suddenly he felt that he was missing something, he again analyzes everything that has happened in their mission in the land of waves. after thinking everything through he came to a dangerous conclusion.

according to Naruto, since Gatou has been pushed into a corner after he killed his 'mountain wolf bandit group' and when someone is on their last stand they often take emergency and ruthless measure.

Naruto can guess that Gatou was not the ringleader here, he was working under someone else, because the thing which he was for was useless for a common person, probably after he got the info. about the piece of zanpakuto he sold it to someone else and that someone must have supplied jounin and chunin rank mercenaries to the 'mountain bandit group'. and since now all their preparation were down to drain they will surely be restless may take steps which might prove grave for the peoples of this village.

thinking this far, Naruto made a couple of handsigns and ...

'MULTIPLE SHADOW CLONE JUTSU'

he summoned around 300 clones and command them to investigate for any suspicious activity. after getting command the clones nodded and disappeared.

seeing this Naruto sighed and again went back in his meditative pose but he was soon disturbed when he felt three chakra signature moving rapidly in his direction, sensing them Naruto did not panic as he knew they were his team.

'whoosh'

soon three shadows landed beside him and check the surrounding.

Kakashi: Naruto we felt massive chakra disturbance coming from this place, did you do something.

looking up Naruto said.

Naruto: ya! I command 300 of my clones to investigate this entire for any suspicious activity.

Sasuke: but why so sudden?

hearing Sasuke Naruto sighed and tell them about his conjecture regarding Gatou and the possibility that he was not the final boss and the probability that the village might get attacked soon.

after hearing Naruto their expression became serious.

Kakashi: you might be right, but if he attacks the village with an entire army of mercenaries, it will be a problem.

Sakura: so we need more manpower.

hearing Sakura Kakashi nodded and just as he was about to continue further he interrupted by Naruto.

Naruto: true that we will need more manpower, if my conjectures are we will need another jounin level shinobi, but apart from the manpower we also need to increase our strength, because in a battle personal strength matters the most, we will also need to work on our coordination and strategies.

hearing Naruto Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi nodded.

suddenly a thought appears in Naruto's mind which caused a smile to appear on his face, seeing the smile the trio look at him strangely and Sasuke said.

Sasuke: what happened.

Naruto: well I just thought of a way to get a jounin level shinobi, but I am not sure wether he will agree or not, so as a backup we should send a letter to Konoha and ask them to dispatch a shinobi team.

hearing Naruto a frown appear on Kakashi's face and he asks.

Kakashi: are you talking about Zabuza.

Sasuke and Sakura were shocked after hearing this and Naruto nodded.

Kakashi: are you sure about.

Naruto: I am 90% sure, even though Zabuza is a missing-nin and a semi-s level shinobi, in the end, he is still a human. so if we offer him a place in Konoha he might agree.

Kakashi: so let's assume that he agrees, then what about the Hokage, will he allow a missing-nin to join the village.

hearing this a creepy smile appear on Naruto's face.

Naruto: you do not need to worry about that old man, I know how to handle him.

seeing Naruto's creepy smile a shiver ran down the trio's spine.

// team seven training //

for the next one week, they trained their ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, chakra control etc.

in this week Sakura and Sasuke master the tree climbing exercise, now they can climb trees without any flaws, as a result of this exercise their chakra control became much better.

Sasuke learned some new fire-style jutsus from Kakashi and Naruto, apart from fire style, he was also able to partially transformed his chakra in lightning nature after studying the scroll given to him by Naruto, seeing Sasuke's progress Kakashi was shocked. he never thought Sasuke has this much talent.

sakura on the other mainly on perfecting her chakra, she practised the 'ACOUSTIC PLAM' technique given to her by nature, after training she now is capable to infuse her chakra in her hand in order to make chakra scalpels, she also improved her taijutsu due to her perfect body control.

on the other Naruto decided to work on 'RASENGAN'. he knew that it will suspicious if he just came up with his father's jutsu, so he decided to ask kakashi if he knew any raw chakra transformation jutsu, which has high destructive strength. after hearing Naruto Kakashi thought for a while and in the end the only jutsu came in his mind was 'RASENGAN', he hesitated in the beginning but eventually gave in after seeing Naruto's eager expression.

Kakashi explained Naruto about the working process of 'RASENGAN'. after getting the process, Naruto became more clear about the 'RASENGAN' and start practising it, he starts with a water ball and tried burst it with just his chakra, it took him around 2 days to completely master this step, after the step with the water ball was done, he began the next step which was to burst an ait ball, it was much more difficult than the water ball but he was eventually able complete this step in 4 days and by the end of 7th day he was able to form 'RASEMGAN'S' base form.

seeing Naruto's progress Kakashi was shocked again.
