Becoming a Disciple!

"Stop thinking that I'm a child! I have been alive longer than even your great-great-great-great grandparents!" her cheeks puffed up in only what could be seen as cute as she placed her hands on her hips.

Holy sh*t. Someone help me with this situation! I'm not good at dealing with angry children!

'I got you, bro,' a middle-aged man's voice entered Umber's ears, and he couldn't help but feel relieved.

'Thanks, Amin. I owe you one.'

......... POV Switch to Master Qiu Cui

Suddenly, the aura of the young man before her shifted, turning into that of a blood-stained fighter.

Although the young man before was strong... Master Qiu Cui knew that she could deal with him. However... she couldn't help but shiver at the blood-lust rolling in waves from that very same young man now.

"We didn't mean to offend you, dear," the young man cordially said, his voice completely different from before. His previous shot-clipped words had switched to a southern drawl.

Master Qiu couldn't help but blank for a few seconds before she pulled herself together to answer the weird boy. "I am offended!"

The young man chuckled before going near her.

It took all of her willpower to not step back.

He extended a hand out and smiled gently. Instantly, the blood-lust and killing intent from before disappeared like a puff of smoke. "I am Am- ahem. I meant, I am Devin and your future disciple."

"Disciple!?" Master Qiu shouted out. Hadn't he heard of the rumors surrounding her? Why was this weird young man wanting to be her disciple?

Wait, perhaps they might be a perfect master-disciple match what with her being cursed and he... She remembered the young man's quick switch and inwardly nodded her head. They would definitely be a perfect master-disciple pair.

Besides, she needed a disciple or else she would be kicked out of the sect.

Nodding her head, Master Qiu grabbed at her new disciples hands with both of hers, quickly bringing his hand up and down. "Great! We start bright and early tomorrow morning!"

At that, Master Qiu jumped up and away. She couldn't wait to brag to the other Masters about her new and powerful disciple.

............ Amin's POV

Amin watched as their new 'Master' scurried out of the canteen before he turned around to view the other disciples.

Her reaction was entirely different from what he was expecting.

'Ask the others, Amin. I have a terrible feeling about this,' Willow's voiced and Umber agreed with her.

'Ask that one over there!' Crystal shouted.

Amin looked around and noticed a disciple eating alone. He made his way there, casually whistling.

Rapping his knuckles on the table right in front of the disciple, Amin smiled before he said, "Hello! What's your name?"

The disciple didn't even bother to look at him and continued eating.

Still smiling, Amin sat down next to him and grabbed a piece of the shredded meat that the boy was obviously saving.

The boy glared at him and pushed his food away.

"Hmm?" Amin smiled. "You finally looked at me, huh?"

Glaring at Amin, the young boy abruptly stood up from the table.

"Hey." Amin called out, chuckling.

'Knock if off, sadist," Willow muttered, her agitation palpable.

'I'm not a sadist... I just like pissing people off.'

'Just let him do his thing, Willow.'

'Shut up, Umber. No one asked you, you wannabe martial artist.'

'Ouch, Willow. My heart has been injured.'

'Don't make me beat you up!'

'Enough,' Amin said, the smile on his face falling. 'Or I will make sure none of us are happy.'

The two of them quietened and Amin finally had peace.

'Amin-oniisan?'

'What, Crystal?'

'That girl has been staring at you for quite a while now.'

'I know, but I'm not interested in children.'

'Hmph! Not like that!'

Amin chuckled before he turned on his heel, heading for the female outer disciple that Crystal had noticed. He nonchalantly sat down and propped his face up with his left hand. "What's wrong with you?"

The female disciple looked surprised for a split second before she schooled her features. "You've killed before, haven't you?"

Amin's expression hadn't changed at all- his smile remained as cordial and jolly as before. "Ahem, what's going on with you?"

Narrowing her eyes, the female disciple leaned in further, staring at Amin with an extremely serious face. Her voice dropped down to a near whisper, a sliver of a threat underneath her tone. "You've killed before."

Sighing, Amin leaned back and shook his head. "Clearly, you don't have sense, dear. I'm afraid that this conversation is over."

He stood up to leave, but the girl grabbed his sleeve and began to cry great, heaving sobs.

Sh*t! Amin whirled around and looked at the girl. "If you don't let go of my sleeve, I will kill you."

The girl abruptly let go, but she continued to cry.

Amin sighed and returned to his seat. "Yes."

Her cries stopped as fast as they started, and she beamed like the sun. "Good."

'Why'd you tell her, dumb*ss!'

'I don't like crying woman, Willow. And she touched me.'

'How can a f*cking murderer be afraid of germs!'

'Hey. I'm a trained assassin. Not just a mere murderer.'

'Still crazy.'

'And we all aren't?'

'...'

The girl sniveled a few times before she looked at Amin with a serious look on her youthful face. "I need your help."

Amin hysterically laughed, hitting the table in front of him in his laughter. "Phew," he wiped at the tears in his eyes. "Cupcake, I'm not sure you know what you're asking for."

"I need to kill someone."

"So?"

"And you've killed before."

"So?"

"Help me."

Amin sighed and stood up, leaving the girl behind.

'Why didn't you help her?' Crystal asked.

'I'm not a bleeding heart, Crystal. Besides, we're not sure about this world, yet.'

'Devin's going to wake up soon.' Willow warned.

"Sh*t!" Amin muttered as he exited the canteen. He still had a few more things he needed to do before Devin could wake up.
