In the unfamiliar world, Hui Lan must strive among the plots and schemes aimed at her. Along the way, she has two majestic assistants to guide her, Yue and Hun that had come from an even more ancient time period. No longer the well-behaved empress like before, Empress Hui Lan seeks to find justice in this messy palace and end the mission forced in her hands. Beneath the surface, an underground power seeks to pull her down like how they had driven Empress Hui Lin to the pit of fire. However, if her enemies kept secretly hidden in the dark, then she would build an entire empire of hers to bring them down.

The subtle change in his consort’s temperament had not escaped his incisive eyes. Emperor Shen Yang Long was well known for his iciness among his subjects, the surrounding kingdoms and his wives that were all arranged for different purposes. Phoenix's crescent love

After struggling to get the drunken Empress inside the Palace without getting caught by the guards, the Su siblings found themselves in another struggle.


The Empress would not go inside Kunning Palace.


The Chest box was still resting in her arms like a mother hen. She went on exploring Xin Li palace like a tourist, but a drunken tourist with Su Rong and Su Jou clearing the way for her from any watchful eyes. The Su siblings would take turns to distract the shadow guards and the palace guards so that their Empress could freely wander around to her heart's content.


When finishing her tour, the Empress ended up in a big pine forest in the northernmost part of the Palace. Nevertheless, the Su siblings could finally put their heart at ease for this part of the palace was close to the Cold Palace and there was no one there. There were even fewer people and guards as it was regarded as bad luck.


...Bad luck might be bad to some, but to their Empress, it wasn't all as bad.
