The Greater Good (IX)

Two pairs of feet were swiftly dashing on top of the rooftops within the capital city. Underneath the broad daylight, they made their way on top of the rooftops like two silent masters.

One figure was dressed in crimson red robes while the other was in an inkjet black robe. The two had a wide bamboo hat on and covered their faces with face veils. However, their figures were hardly distinguishable and they made their way like shadows, especially the figure in red. They were like two strokes of a long cloth that was dashing above the rooftops.

The citizens of Xin Li who were carrying out their daily routines and tasks from beneath took no notice of the activity that was going on above them.

As the two figures drew closer to their destination, their pace also slowed down and calmly walked above the rooftop. They jumped from one rooftop to a rooftop that was painted in a deep red colour and then along a tall white wall.
