Beneath the surface, an underground power seeks to pull her down like how they had driven Empress Hui Lin to the pit of fire. However, if her enemies kept secretly hidden in the dark, then she would build an entire empire of hers to bring them down.

After Li Gui Fei had left, Hui Lan couldn't focus as much as she wanted and took a small bath before changing into her casual red dress. Only when she had finished refreshening herself, she began writing down the rest of the details for her plans.

Her hands were moving fast as she waited for Su Rong to finish preparing a warm dinner for her, only a few parts were left for her to write.

The Emperor may have the power to authorize his degree, but the public's voice was another thing.
