The insides of Galan's spatial ring was like a treasure chest full of riches. Countless piles of gold coins were everywhere within the large storage. Twenty eight spirit weapons and two heavenly grade weapons floated about. There was a few books that were listed as cultivation and attack techniques but they seemed to be very old. A few jaded boxes layered with formations were sitting far away.
Unfortunately, there was no monster cores. He probably left them at his place in the Extreme Yin Empire so they wouldn't be taken away in case he died, based on his personality. He was always the type to be cautious and keep his most important belongings in spare storage rings hiding back at his mansion while only traveling with things he deemed non-important.
But I could tell the spatial ring was made more than a billion years ago. The interior emits a faint ancient aura and the space inside is very unstable. It probably only has a thousand or less years remaining before collapsing. The spatial ring must've been constructed by a spatial master a billion years ago when humanity was at it's peak. But it managed to survive up till this day surprisingly.
Spatial masters are people born with spatial bodies that are bodies that have a natural affinity towards space itself. Their body naturally comprehends space laws and cultivate spatial energies. Spatial laws are hard to comprehend and absorb but space energies aren't which is why the horrible creatures in the space realms exist in plentiful numbers in the first place. One that's born down there will have a natural affinity to space energies and freely absorb it.
The spatial laws in the space realms become more complete the further you go down but they're incredible hard to absorb and comprehend. But the spacial energies are abundant down there and can be easily absorbed to cultivate. But most creatures down in the space realms are barely intelligent despite being powerful, otherwise it'd be devastating.
But a spatial master human or not is hard to find since the space energies in the Immortal Realm and Upper Realm are so meager that you have to travel to the edges of the universe to find any. Plus, the chances of giving birth to one that's the lowest grade spatial body is 1 in a 100 billion.
Even if one has horrible comprehensions of anything, their comprehensions towards space will be boosted tremendously by their spatial bodies that absorb space energies and comprehend spatial laws. Even if one has horrible talent towards cultivation, the spacial body will compensate somewhat up till the divine realm before it becomes ineffective.
But spatial masters' are esteemed and privileged people in the lower and upper realms. They can construct spatial gates, spatial formations, spatial runes, spatial talismans, and spatial rings if given the right materials. Even the lowest grades are still esteemed and powerful people in the lower realms.
Back to reality, I carefully put on the ring and didn't attempt to transfer anything over. Seeing no response from benefactor, I sighed and went back to cultivating.
The days went by despite the death of Galan. The gravity was still dropping noticeably but still not that serious yet.
However, the ship finally lost too much energy. Cracks began forming on the formation exterior that slowly connected from the bombardment of the black rain and winds. It shattered, causing the formation to collapse. Black rain dyed the outside exterior starting from the back to the front a black ink in a matter of seconds. The winds and rain bombarded the runes but they managed to withstand despite their diminishing power. Most of the energy had been concentrating on the formation which cost more energy, but with it gone, it could focus the remaining energy on the rune formations.
But it only lasted for a day. I watched as the dim runes cracked and shattered, disrupting the whole rune formation, causing it to collapse. The whole ship was now subjected to the stress of wind and water. Thankfully the masts had already collapsed and ripped off or else the damage would be far worse.
The ship groaned as the various structures on the exterior collapsed before being blown into the wind. The violent waves rocked and twisted the ship, causing cracks and leaks on the hull. Water poured inside and the ship began sinking.
If ice energies were abundant, I could freely use my ability to freeze the entire ship to prevent leaking, but now I can barely maintain my cultivation. I won't be able to maintain the ice and will lose combat ability as well.
I grit my teeth as the ship slowly fell apart. Finally, the ship couldn't hold itself in one piece as it split up. I grabbed benefactor's body and escaped into the waters. The winds are enough to rip ones skin off and I can't sustain ice to withstand them with the low energies. Being tossed like a ragdoll, I expended some of my energies to freeze the water around us, putting us in an ice cocoon that protected us.
By doing this, I'll slowly deplete my energy, but it's better than nothing. By then benefactor can hopefully wake up.
