In the endless Universe is eight primordial laws. Each of the eight laws have been fused with a supreme expert, but unbeknownst to everyone, there is a ninth law in the universe. It tears open the Primordial Chaos and is beyond reach.

Di Jiu—whose name is a homophone for 'ninth'—is the ungifted son of a powerful Di family clan in the Ji Nation as he lacks martial roots. Unwilling to resign to his fate, he practices medicine, hoping to one day cure himself. 

One day, the king orders a massacre of the Di family, forcing Di Jiu to flee. He ends up traveling to a portal into a post-modern Earth where cultivation has been made possible with the appearance of Planet Fairy.

What awaits Di Jiu in his bid to seek revenge and figure out the truth while he switches between dimensions?

Ninth In the World

The Book of the World was boundless. When Di Jiu's Spiritual Force entered it, it was engulfed by its limitless content. Fortunately, Di Jiu knew what he wanted. Now was not the right time to analyze the Book of the World. He would have a lot of time to do so once he left the Sky Screen.

His Spiritual Force immediately landed on the flame, as he wanted to know how he could collect it. How could he possibly collect the flame, when he could not even get close to the flaming mountain?

Di Jiu was lucky. He found the flame introduction quickly.

However, he was a little shocked when he read it. Simply looking at the various names of flames was quite an unpleasant experience. There were at least 100 million different flames.

Di Jiu did not understand. If there were so many flames in the universe, why were they still so rare?
