In the endless Universe is eight primordial laws. Each of the eight laws have been fused with a supreme expert, but unbeknownst to everyone, there is a ninth law in the universe. It tears open the Primordial Chaos and is beyond reach.

Di Jiu—whose name is a homophone for 'ninth'—is the ungifted son of a powerful Di family clan in the Ji Nation as he lacks martial roots. Unwilling to resign to his fate, he practices medicine, hoping to one day cure himself. 

One day, the king orders a massacre of the Di family, forcing Di Jiu to flee. He ends up traveling to a portal into a post-modern Earth where cultivation has been made possible with the appearance of Planet Fairy.

Ninth In the World

Di Jiu came to a decision after a short while.

Although his cultivation was weak, he couldn't belittle the strength of a late-stage Immortal Spirit Body.

Even though he hadn't been in contact with the prosperous Immortal World before, there couldn't have been many late-stage Immortal Spirit Bodies around. Also, there was possibly nobody else who had used the Universe Membrane fragment to help the body transcend nirvana like he had.

In other words, his body was amongst the strongest in the Immortal World. If even he couldn't make it in, then few people from the Immortal World could.

When Di Jiu thought of this, he immediately put the Quintessential World into his Spiritual Sea, lifted his hand and put the Primeval Thunder Rock into his Quintessential World. He dashed right into the whirlpool before the next wave of thunder streak pillars struck him.
