In the endless Universe is eight primordial laws. Each of the eight laws have been fused with a supreme expert, but unbeknownst to everyone, there is a ninth law in the universe. It tears open the Primordial Chaos and is beyond reach.

Di Jiu—whose name is a homophone for 'ninth'—is the ungifted son of a powerful Di family clan in the Ji Nation as he lacks martial roots. Unwilling to resign to his fate, he practices medicine, hoping to one day cure himself. 

One day, the king orders a massacre of the Di family, forcing Di Jiu to flee. He ends up traveling to a portal into a post-modern Earth where cultivation has been made possible with the appearance of Planet Fairy.

When he opened his palm, the Yin-Yang Taijitu immediately floated above Di Jiu's head.

He was facing two perfected Primordial Chaos cultivators, so Di Jiu dared not be careless.

"The Yin-Yang Taijitu! You're Di Jiu? Yes, I know you are Di Jiu, but this is absolutely impossible…" While speaking incoherently, that small and vigorous perfected Primordial Chaos cultivator stared at Di Jiu.
