In the endless Universe is eight primordial laws. Each of the eight laws have been fused with a supreme expert, but unbeknownst to everyone, there is a ninth law in the universe. It tears open the Primordial Chaos and is beyond reach.

Di Jiu—whose name is a homophone for 'ninth'—is the ungifted son of a powerful Di family clan in the Ji Nation as he lacks martial roots. Unwilling to resign to his fate, he practices medicine, hoping to one day cure himself. 

One day, the king orders a massacre of the Di family, forcing Di Jiu to flee. He ends up traveling to a portal into a post-modern Earth where cultivation has been made possible with the appearance of Planet Fairy.

"Who is that?" Nai Yisheng suddenly turned his head but saw no one.

Nai Yisheng felt goosebumps all over. Did a cultivator like him live there?

Before Nai Yisheng could think though this matter carefully, a young man on crutches walked over. He seemed to be walking very slowly, but in Nai Yisheng's eyes, the young man took only two steps forward to reach him.

Nai Yisheng suddenly had the misguided sense that the surrounding naturally-pure Heaven Earth Spirit Qi seemed to thin a little following the appearance of this young man.

"Why did you come here, Big Brother Di?" Gan Rou sensed that this king, and especially the State Teacher standing beside the king, did not have a good temperament. Di Jiu had actually come out just as she had started panicking.
