In the endless Universe is eight primordial laws. Each of the eight laws have been fused with a supreme expert, but unbeknownst to everyone, there is a ninth law in the universe. It tears open the Primordial Chaos and is beyond reach.

Di Jiu—whose name is a homophone for 'ninth'—is the ungifted son of a powerful Di family clan in the Ji Nation as he lacks martial roots. Unwilling to resign to his fate, he practices medicine, hoping to one day cure himself. 

One day, the king orders a massacre of the Di family, forcing Di Jiu to flee. He ends up traveling to a portal into a post-modern Earth where cultivation has been made possible with the appearance of Planet Fairy.

"Brother Di, if possible, can I go in with you? I know a little about the Land of Seven Chakras so I might help you a little." Yu Xiangbing looked at Di Jiu with some anticipation.

Di Jiu understood what Yu Xiangbing meant. She was asking him whether he could protect her and enter the Land of Seven Chakras with her.

Upon seeing Di Jiu stay silent, Yu Xiangbing hurriedly added, "Big Brother Di, if we really reach the Land of Seven Chakras, it might be of great benefit to me. If I can find the Chaos Lava, I may be able to reach the Dao Integration Realm."

If Yu Xiangbing did not mention that this would benefit her, Di Jiu would not bring her along.
