In the endless Universe is eight primordial laws. Each of the eight laws have been fused with a supreme expert, but unbeknownst to everyone, there is a ninth law in the universe. It tears open the Primordial Chaos and is beyond reach.

Di Jiu—whose name is a homophone for 'ninth'—is the ungifted son of a powerful Di family clan in the Ji Nation as he lacks martial roots. Unwilling to resign to his fate, he practices medicine, hoping to one day cure himself. 

One day, the king orders a massacre of the Di family, forcing Di Jiu to flee. He ends up traveling to a portal into a post-modern Earth where cultivation has been made possible with the appearance of Planet Fairy.

Ninth In the World

Ye Yimo had already recovered quite well inside Di Jiu's Ninth World. The reason her soul had yet to awaken was because of her cultivation technique. If her Principal Spirit awakened when her body healed, her cultivation would be able to recover completely soon.

Because she urgently needed treasures that could heal the flesh, Di Jiu gave her a Soul-Gathering Immortal Lotus. Her slumbering Principal Spirit sensed it and enveloped the lotus almost immediately. Then, the Three Lifetime Art Dao runes became increasingly more condensed.

In two hours, the Soul-Gathering Immortal Lotus had disappeared and Ye Yimo's flesh had recovered. When her body and Principal Spirit merged completely, she opened her eyes.

She instantly leaped up from where she'd been lying. Then, she discovered that she seemed to be residing inside a restriction and there was a ring lying by her side.
