Abandoned by Gods

"Hello"- Rosa greeted Alexander. Her voice was gentle and smooth, a lot different from one minute ago.

Rosa's bronze skin, black eyes and golden hair blended with each other so well as the stars in the night sky. Although she was already over thirty years, she exuded a mature and sexy charm.

Alexander had seen thousands of beautiful women as the Prince of the Solis Empire, and Rosa could be placed in the top hundred.

"Hello" - Alexander responded in a courteous way, while trying to sit up on the bed. He was a prince after all, so he needed to act nobly...or at least try.

" Don't stress yourself so much, your body is still very weak. It will take at least two to three days to recover" - Rosa hurried to support Alexander, helping him sit up.

Alexander squeezed his blue eyes, enduring the pain that spread through his whole body, as he forced himself to sit up.

"Where am I?" -Alexander asked Rosa, his voice sounding a bit raspy.

"You are at Tenebris Camp, located in the Wastelands...where the people abandoned by Gods inhabits" Rosa explained to Alexander.

Alexander noted that Rosa was a bit apprehensive as she explained to him.

"Abandoned by Gods?"

"Yes, we, the people born on the Wastelands were abandoned by Gods. Some says that we are cursed, others says that we are descendants of demons...and that's the reason why the Gods abandoned and cursed us"

"We are discriminated by other people, they see us like rats that should be exterminated and wiped out of these lands. We can't even leave the Wasteland borders or we will be hunted down and killed"

Although Rosa was talking about something sad and painful, her eyes exuded gentleness and warmth. As if this was all normal, and she had already grew accustomed with it.

"So, it's my time to ask...who are you?"- Rosa squeezed her eyes and looked carefully at Alexander.

He could feel a small killing intent leaking from Rosa, as if one wrong word could lead to his death. 'Her mood changes so fast' - Alexander thought

"I am Alexander Solis Ecanius, Son of Lars Soli Ecanius and the Prince of the Solis Empire"

By reflex, Alexander introduced himself while slightly bowing towards Rosa.

"Solis Empire...where is this?" - Rosa asked confused.

There was no Solis Empire on this side of the continent. So the kid could only be lying. But from his calm and composed voice, it didn't seem to be the case.

"I…." -Alexander stopped talking as sorrow attacked his heart.

He soon perceived that he committed a huge mistake. The Solis Empire has already been destroyed eras ago, surely there were no records of it in the recent era.

"It's located in the Far North, I don't even know how I got here" - Alexander lied and scratched his head. Trying to find some way to contour the situation.

He didn't know how to explain to Rosa his origins and nor he could...if the gods or their believers knew that a royal descendant had survived, they would chase him down and kill everyone he contacted...including this whole camp.

"Hm...the North, we really don't have much information on that side of the continent" - Rosa said as she nodded her head.

The killing intent leaking from her slowly retroceded, after hearing that Alexander was from the Far North.

The Far North was where the Dragon Race lived, and only a small number of humans inhabited that region The Gods had little to no influence on that side of the continent.

The North has always been chaotic, kingdoms fall as soon as new ones emerges. So it was almost impossible to keep a track on everything, that's why Rosa thought that Alexander wasn't lying.

"You won't be able to return to your country anytime soon, so take a rest little prince."

Rosa said as she smiled and patted him on the shoulder, moving then towards the other patients, leaving Alexander with his own thoughts.

Alexander knew that she wouldn't talk to him until he fully recovered. He was already exhausted from this small talk.

"Yeah, I know"

Alexander whispered and laid back on the bed, closing his eyes and going back to sleep

-----x------

Inside a spacious tent, decorated with gold and broken stone statues, a white haired old man was sitting on a wooden chair. The old man had a long ponytail, a thick beard and wore a white kimono.

This old man was Honos Bellum, the Leader of the Tenebris Camp and the strongest being in this whole camp. Legends says that two hundred years ago, his whole family was assassinated and as form of revenge, he annihilated a whole army single-handed. Leaving a long river of blood that took years to be washed off.

In front of him, Rosa was reporting about the stranger called Alexander.

"After Jon and Robert brought the kid to the camp, I immediately put him under observation. He doesn't show signs of injury, which is intriguing if we consider the way they found him."

"Also, he has no God's Mark, so I am certain that he isn't one of the dogs" - Rosa said.

The Gods Marks appears on every God's follower. The mark can appear anywhere in the body, and the drawings were different for every God. Using the Marks, the followers can extract holy powers to use during battles

"Hm...where is he from?" - Honos asked as he slowly fondled his beard.

.

"He told me that he was a prince from a kingdom in the North."

"Did you believe?"

"Not really, but we can't confirm it...maybe the kingdom has already been destroyed and he somehow was transported to here. Anyway, we can't confirm the veracity of the information"

"*Hmmmmm*"

Honos hummed and waved his hands, signalling for Rosa to leave.

"When he recovers, bring him on a tour around the encampment...if he decides to stay, bring him to me"

Honos said towards the departing Rosa, who just lifted one of her hands acknowledging his words.

"*Tch* that brat grew up. Look at that, she didn't even said Goodbye" -Honos sorrowfully said.

"The boy that descended with the thunder...maybe the prophecy is true"

Honos started laughing as a crazy man.
