The Twins' Rivalry

Chapter 14: Edited.

*Continuation of Flashback*

Not knowing that she was currently being observed from the closed-circuit television by Kyle, Scarlet simply stared at Kevin, speechless.

If he were the one to answer his own question, then why did he even ask her in the first place?

Kevin, on the other hand, was so intoxicated by her dumbstruck stare that he too became lost in her beautiful gaze when he saw his face being reflected upon her lovely eyes like he was the only person she could see in this world full of billions of people.

He could just stare at her forever.

[...]

BANG!

[@sgt351nvu2#a!!] Shit! Who the hell?!

While the two lovebirds were lost in each other's gazes for different reasons, Kyle loudly banged the clinic's wooden door open and, when he set his sight on them, the aura around him became extremely dark and menacing, thus unleashing the beast from within:

A mighty, godly, and murderously high killing intent descended, bringing forth deadly pressure upon those within the proximity of the whole academy.

"!!!"

While the students were peacefully eating their lunch in the canteen, they felt a deadly and poisonous aura descending upon them, as if telling them that their deaths were near.

The atmosphere around them became tense and the happy atmosphere from a while ago immediately shredded into pieces, making even the slightest pin drop be heard from all across the room.

They did not bother to make the slightest movement, for they feared they might die because of the next action they made.

They did not know why they felt this way. What they did know was that the one who had done this was someone absolutely inhumane!

Moreover, that dangerous being was residing within the school!

They mentally cried inside once they realized this fact. They depressingly thought of the many more similar and horrible situations that would take place in the future.

Meanwhile, the three culprits inside the clinic were oblivious to the entire change of atmosphere within the school.

Hearing the loud bang of the door, both of the pitiful victims broke their deep gazes towards each other and looked at Kyle's direction.

Of course, Scarlet noticed the tremendous, super obvious dark and deadly aura, filled with a mighty high killing intent, directed towards them.

She was speechless before. Now, she was mute.

On the other hand, her brain was a loudspeaker:

'Why is Kyle here? Why did he just bang the door? What is going on? Was there something I missed? Was he here to pick a fight with me? Or maybe pick a find with my friend? Wait, what?! Why would he try to pick a fight with either of us? Maybe he was here for something else. Wait, I'm overthinking again. Stop it, ma!'

Imagine all of this mind-talk taking place in a second.

In any case, Scarlet readied her stance.

She couldn't recall a time she had wronged this seatmate of hers. They barely even talked! But it was always better to be safe than sorry. So she seriously continued pondering again while looking deep into Kyle's eyes, as if a hidden answer was laid within it.

While the girl was jumbling up her head for answers, Kevin immediately shifted his gaze towards Kyle and Scarlet, back and forth.

After a few seconds...

"!" Ding.

A light bulb appeared out of nowhere.

Just as if he had found the most loathsome answer in all of history, Kevin's expression greatly darkened. He frowned while glaring back at Kyle, replying back through his own body language that he also wanted to strangle his blood-related brother to death.

In their entire life, the twins never fought. Because of private circumstances within their family, they matured at an early age.

However, there was always a first for everything...

[...] Time to grab me some popcorn and watch World War 3.

For the first time in history, there now occurred two almighty gods of death bringing forth an enormous and deadly pressure within the academy, with both of their strengths on par with the other and with both of their influences doubling the pressure of the entire building.

Because of this, a huge fiasco took place in the canteen.

Those in the middle of lining to buy food immediately forgot the reason why they were standing there in the first place.

Those who ate their food also forgot that they were currently in the middle of eating, leaving their spoons and forks hanging in the air with their mouths wide open.

Lastly, those in the middle of walking also forgot how to walk for the very first time and stumbled amidst the clear marble floor with absolutely no bumps into it.

[*crunch* *crunch*] These twins were making everyone stupid, it thought while happily eating popcorn.

The students of the academy were now restless!

What on earth had befallen them?!

[No idea.]

What had they done to receive such harsh treatment?!

[No idea.]

What must they do now? Should they run for their life?!

[Bad idea.]

Instead of not making the slightest movement, they became frantic and hastily ran for their life. They swiftly ran towards the exit, as if running away would solve all the confusing problems that had occurred out of the blue.

[...] 'Why can't anyone listen to its advice? It was clearly smart, ah.' It thought while eating and spitting out popcorn crumbs.

Meanwhile, the three culprits in charge of this entire chaos were merely at the clinic, having a staring contest. Each one heightening up their instincts of survival and readying their fighting stance.

Kyle returned back Kevin's glare, which meant a very, very bad sign.

Meanwhile, Scarlet did not know who to stare or glare at. She somehow felt like a third wheeler.

Based on her findings as a third wheeler, it seemed like it had nothing to do with her. Although she was friends with the other long-haired twin, Scarlet knew it wasn't her place to interfere in sibling rivalry for whatever they were fighting for.

[Mhm!] It nodded its head in approval.

She was also unsure if she could beat them, even with her God-given skills. Rather, it seemed impossible at the moment since she was still injured. She still wanted to live.

[MHM!] It nodded its head greatly in approval.

So she was not the least bit hesitant at all. The best choice was to...

Escape!

[Yosh!] Before their stupidity rubs off on itself, let it join you!

While the girl was highly concentrating on her next plans of survival, Kyle intensely stared at the two individuals before him.

Presently, from Kyle's point of view as the light bulb, he could see a young man and a young woman sitting very close across each other. What the young man was doing was currently holding both of the young woman's delicate injured elbows while forgetting to finish treating the woman's wounds yet again.

However, that kind of scene was not enough to make him unleash his wrath towards the whole academy.

Kyle stared intensely at the girl before him, his first love.

Her collar unbuttoned down to her ribs and her necktie loosened down to her stomach, revealing sexy and full soft cleavage and a glimpse of appealing plain white bra surrounding it. Not only that but from her sitting position, her mini-skirt was also very crumpled, revealing her sexy long and smooth fair thighs with a hint of the side of her plain white underwear almost stripped off to her thigh underneath the mini-skirt.

Just the sight of her made his manhood immediately aroused with passion.

He would love to stare at her like this forever, better yet if she was naked.

[Twin perverts.] It highly approves.

But the fact that the young woman before him looked so disheveled and sexually alluring to his eyes...

The fact that she was seen like this in front of a man other than him...

The fact that his first love was like this because of that same man...

And the fact that his damn twin also had a very visible hard-on...

Angered him to death!!!

Just as Scarlet was about to escape, the beastly and threatening aura that the twins had exchanged became even fiercer, which made her lose all chances of escaping.

[Tsk...] Maybe their stupidity might rub off on it after all.

But even if there was a very, very small chance of escaping, Scarlet chose not to because Kevin's life seemed to be in danger.

Kevin generously helped her and supported her when she was at her weakest point in life. Yet, when it was his turn to be at his weakest point, she only selfishly thought about her own survival, not caring the least bit of his own.

'Such a bad, bad person.' Scarlet internally scolded herself, feeling guilty.

[Wrong person, Sweetheart.] They're the ones who're bad, obviously.

She never had any friends before but she was sure that this was absolutely not the way to treat them.

Just when Kyle was about to violently start killing his brother with his own bare hands, adrenaline rushed towards her veins. She made a move to unhesitantly save her one and only friend!
