Lucas's Determination

Granduncle blinked a bit before he sighed, "It is one thing if Glyn was alive and well. I would have taken him under my wing and trained him myself until he becomes worthy of my daughter, at least for the deeds and the sincerity he has shown."

He shook his head.

"However, Glyn is dead, and there is nothing I can do about it, and the irony is that only with his death, did he manage to gain the heart of my proud daughter. This is too conflicting for me to interfere. I feel that I would further aggravate her emotions. That's why I asked for your help."

Granduncle Daniuis became expectant, "Does that mean you are willing?"

Davis shook his head, "I will talk to her."

Granduncle Daniuis became a bit disappointed, "I see..."

"But, since you two are almost of the same age and are close with each other as comrades, I feel that your words will be able to rejuvenate her heart."
