Choosing Turns

From their location, Davis and Evelynn surveyed the space they were in from the other cities marked on the map and scouted a five hundred-kilometer radius. It took them about a whole day to ensure the area's safety before reconvening at the center.

"Other than mortal realm beasts roaming around and living their lives, there wasn't anything else to be worried about."

Evelynn reported, causing Davis to nod.

"This location is good. All the activities mostly ended six hundred kilometers away. There are no immortal entities here, probably because they fear the Vacuous Beasts that could still be on the prowl. Most importantly, there's a natural barrier with the mountains blocking the view from the far skies in all directions while we can't even see past a few hundred kilometers as the foggy atmosphere restricts vision."

As far as they had surveyed, everything seemed to be good for them to continue with their plans.
