It had to be known that immortals never easily swore to the heavens. It is the same even for wedding oaths, so people simply complete it with the words love and care. Not even the word faithful was used much when a woman married a man who already had many wives, much less accompanying one until death, as immortals lived simply too long to accept death.

Usually, the burden of an oath was on the women's side, and the man would simply accept it and reciprocate with an equal or less amount of responsibility. As for giving one's life, that was not usually the case when marrying the second wife, much less the seventh and the eighth wives.
