Silfy

Linri was running around his neighbourhood park as he was observing his environment. At first, he had not given any thoughts to this since his house was exactly the same one he lived in IRL but now that he was outside he could finally see the differences clearly.

The world he was currently in was identical to his own earth but there were still many differences. Actually, it can be said that the world was only similar in its technology level. Because the world of Autumnfall RP club was shaped by its characters' backgrounds. At first, it had started as the same as the other world but after a while, once players found out that they could put whatever they want in the background it became some sorta mishmash. For example, the names of certain countries were different while there were also countries that didn't exist in the other world. You can see countries made up of animal people, demons, angels and even slime people. Though most of these fantasy countries were small in scale they still exist. The even confusing part was that these countries didn't have a set political system. Some of them were ruled by a theocracy, some of them by a monarchy and some of them by a government. There were even some that were not ruled at all, it was total anarchy in that. Although he didn't know if he should even call this place a country. Officially, it was one, but unofficially it was just a city independent from any country.

Linri was currently in a country named Albion Empire. It was the representation of the United Kingdom and just like England, it was ruled by the glorious Queen Elizabeth. The air was still humid and dark and people still worshipped the Yorkshire tea. There were cars were everywhere. This city was basically London and obviously, it was named as such. From the surface, everything still looked the same but the difference was the country was ruled by an iron fist. It also became a warmonger country which was aiming for world domination and slavery of other races. The annoying part of it was this part wasn't created by him. It was thanks to another player who was named Gendor. His character Alex was a victim of a super-soldier program. He was created in the lab by scientists using their own DNA to make a clone. One of the soft-hearted female scientists decided to take pity on him and broke him out of the lab to send him to Autumnfall where he could be safe. What this scientist didn't know was that the experiment was a success but since Alex knew he would only be useful as long as the experiment was going on decided to hide his powers despite everything he knew was thought to him by the scientists there. Gendor at the time said that it was because of Alex's survival instincts. If you asked him that was total bs but hey it was his character and he could do whatever he wanted with him.

Anyway, what's surprising to Linri was world didn't know about the existence of the supernatural. So even though there are islands of cat people and slime people the world didn't know about them and believed them to be myths. Currently, Linri was curious if the government simply didn't know or was concealing it. His money was on the latter. I mean COME ON!! You people have satellites in god-damn space. How can you not know or see an island full of cat people from there? Yeah well, magic also existed in the world and that might have something to do with how they still did not find the mythical races but just like any old Englishman would do Linri decided to blame the parliament. Oh wait, it was the royal family now.

Once he arrived at the park Linri stopped thinking about this and started to think about his current predicament. His watch's current date was July 15, 2012, meaning there were 3 days till his birthday. So at least for the next 4 days, Linri knew that he was safe. After that, he had to meet with the so-called gods. Since he was going to be a freshman when he was 15 that would mean next September he was going to be enrolled at Autumnfall. This gave him about 2 months of blank space where he could practice his powers and get familiar with them. The question was can he create a flame thrower in this time slot? I mean he had to first research how a normal flame thrower worked. Afterwards, he had to compress it till he could wear it in his arm and it also had to be small enough that it wouldn't show through his clothes. Since it was going to be so small he also had to find a new source of fuel for it considering the good old gasoline would be impossible to use with what he had on his mind.

So that meant the answer was still big no. Even if Max wrote Linri was a genius he wasn't going to believe that he could do all that in two months. Since it was a certainty he was not going to waste his time by trying. There came the second solution, seeing that he couldn't create it why not just acquire it? The question was where? Where could he find someone good enough to design something like that? Once he completed his second lap around the park Linri was still thinking about this question.

Maybe he could give the concept art to a person to build it. Duh! Of course, that was what he was going to do but who was the most likely candidate for that? Linri finally found an answer. It was a girl named Silfy. She was another RP character going to the Autumnfall. Though she was not going to arrive at school till the second week of the term and by then Linri already had the flame thrower. So obviously he was not going to make her create it at the school. Maybe instead of waiting for her to come, he could go to her instead? That was possible, so Linri decided to email her the concept and ask her if she can build it. There were also gun and weapon control laws so getting the thing across the border was gonna be a pain in the ass but that was future Linri's problem. For now, he had to know if she can make it in the first place.

Since he already had a direction in mind Linri went home and scanned his drawing. Once he did, he searched online for the information of Silfy. She was coming from an ancient line of blacksmiths so obviously they had to have a shop. The thing was he couldn't find anything online about it. This made it harder for Linri to contact her. He thought about going to her himself but that was gonna be hard. She was living in this world's version of Norway but Linri didn't remember its name. If he wanted to go there he had to buy a plane ticket and he obviously didn't have the money to do so. His parents also wouldn't let him go to a foreign country without them for no reason. This also raised another question. How was he gonna pay Silfy if he manages to get her to build it? For now, he decided to not think about it. He had to admit that he had this bad habit of leaving troublesome things to the future and figure them out in a hurry or fail completely. Even if he was in another person's body, Linri was after all a self-insert character so apparently, he also possessed this bad habit.

Now that he knew that he can't find the blacksmith online Linri decided to try to find Silfy thorough her social media accounts. I mean she was a 15-year-old teenage girl. It would be weird if she didn't have one. Once Linri typed in 'Silfy Oaden' into Goodle and found the person he was looking for in the third page of the images section. Oh, the wonders of the information age where you can find anything you wanted online. As long as someone posted it there was no way to take it down from the internet. In some sense, it made things easier but it also made finding the information you are looking for harder. After all, there was so much information that you had to scan everything just to make sure you didn't miss it by mistake. Linri felt like he was lucky to find her in just the third page. I mean you can't exactly call Silfy an uncommon name. Linri clicked on the picture and went to the website where it was posted. Apparently, she possessed an Instago account and it wasn't hard for Linri to identify her thanks to her silver hair, green eyes and the trademark ivy cap she always wore. Still, there were a lot of people with unusual hair colours in this world though maybe it was accepted as the norm here. I mean him and his mother also white hair but when he got out nobody gave him any weird looks. Noticing that Linri thought that there might be a lot of nerds dying to come to this world just to meet with the lookalikes of their waifus. Actually, he was positive that even while dying they would still have a smile on their faces.

Anyway, now that Linri found her, he immediately followed her and decided PM immediately.
