Increased Difficulty

"Brother, that was so cool!" Michelle was jumping in joy in front of him.

John just smiled warily at it then looked at the two girls walking besides Michelle. One of them is called Rina that has an intellectual look who has a long black wavy hair, wearing a square shape glasses but the most surprising thing is she got a bountiful chest for her young age which really amazed John and the other girl is named Rea, she has a short hair just above her shoulders, who can also considered as pretty and John guessed that she must be an athlete when he noticed that she got little bit of muscles and he was able to confirmed that she was when he asked her.

John looked at his sister who's now happily talking to her friends and smiled. Michelle is a cheerful and intelligent girl, has a chestnut hair and looked like an american girl just based on her skin color and she is around 5'7". John just found out today that this three girls has been friends since their freshmen year and have been together since. He even heard some whispers of admiration from the male students they passed by on the road calling the three girls as the "School Goddesses" which John approved that these three girls are really beautiful but in his eyes they are just three troublesome brats that always gives him troubles.

"Hey Brother!"

John snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Rina calling him.

"Ohh, what is it Rina?"

"You have just beaten up Marc and his lackeys and even robbed them of their money. You must be careful if wants to get revenge, his parents are both council members of the town while the rest of his lackeys parents are working as public servants" Rina seriously said to him while touching her glasses.

"Yes brother, you must be careful, okay?" Michelle said a worried tone.

"Haa! Isn't this your fault brat in first place brat that I'm now in this situation?" John raised an eyebrow at her which Michelle replied with her sticking her tongue out at him.

"Don't worry Michelle, if those bastards troubles us again then I'll give them a good kick on their heads" Rea said as she performed some kicks on the air.

"Yeah! This time my brother them a lesson but next time that they trouble us again. Let's tell Rina's dad about them after all he's the town's mayor"

"Right! Uncle would surely reprimand them if he finds out about it and I'll also tell my dad about it later!"

When John saw that Rea actually knows karate just base on her movements, he screamed in his mind and when heard that Rina is actually the daughter of the current mayor made his eye in surprised "Then why did you guys called me in first place!? Aren't you guys the bullies here instead!?"

A few minutes later, they stopped beside a familiar BMW Sedan at the town plaza.

"Young Lady, I'm here to finally take you and your friends home" said a man in suit looking like a butler as he opened the door respectfully before the three girls.

"Bye big brother! Uncle Robert will drive us home from here on" Michelle said as she gave a peck at John's cheek.

"Sorry for the troubles big bro" Both Rina and Rea said at the same time which John just showed an awkward smile.

John then waved at them as he looked at the car driving away and his face suddenly turned serious as he muttered: "I've known these three girls over a year now but surprisingly Rina is actually the daughter of the current mayor and even Rea's dad is a council member. I wonder how Michelle managed to get acquainted with them. Hmm…"

6:00 pm.

"It's gonna get dark soon" said John as he looked at his watch. He was really surprised that a 15 minute walk turned to an hour walk.

John look into the distance, his eyes looking at the huge mansion a couple of hundreds surrounded by a mass of dark aura which was far more worse than the one in the cemetery.

"What do you think?" like he was asking himself then a voice answered him.

"Hmm.. it seems the Evil Spirit manage to recover some of its strength fortunately it's still manageable but be more cautious this time, this one is not like that lady spirit before, don't worry with increased difficulty I'm sure that there is additional rewards this time" Faere appeared on his shoulder and said with a scowl on her face looking at that malevolent aura surrounding the mansion.

John nodded in agreement and saw that another reward was really added this time with an additional reward of a skill book called Windblade.

"Windblade? That name sounds fami - ohh, it's that skill!"

John then smiled as he nodded then he looked around before walking towards a store nearby as he brought drinks and some snacks while waiting to get dark.

9:00 pm.

A person was dashing through the road wearing all black while on his back was something that looked like a sword wa strapped on. That person was at least three times faster than the fastest man in the world Ustan Bolt.

"Hehe, I never expected that I'd be able to run this fast" John smiled to himself while he ran beside the road this time towards the trees to get some cover as he run past the police station before arriving at a two story tall mansion that was over a hundred meters in length.

John frowned as he can really feel the oppressive feeling this time now that he was at the front of this mansion.

"What's the story of this house John?" Faere appeared as she immediately asked.

"Hmm? I thought you guys would at least know the history of the place where an evil spirit resides?" John asked a bit surprised.

"The association only cares about the target?" Faere snorted.

John gave a bitter smile before he started explaining. According to him, this mansion is a vacation house of a well known lawyer of a rich family in town but because this family have never comeback for a couple of years now, the mansion started becoming like it was an "abandoned mansion" by then a couple of stories started surfacing about people seeing shadow figures, hearing laughter and screams coming from inside the house and only last year that a family of five people moved in who was related to the owners that the house started looking alive but this family only lived for a couple of months before an unfortunate event happened three months ago.

A possession, the eldest daughter of that family was possessed by an entity for two days it was even featured on the news the following days but the good thing was a priest nearby who lives near here was able to cast it away early or else it would become a problem or maybe even a tragedy for that family and the family left after that " and now this mansion is abandoned again" ended the story of John.

"I always felt creep out of this place everytime I pass it by and now I know the reason why" John added as he started noticing movements inside and outside the house.

When Faere was listening to him, her face started getting darker and darker and in the end she just released a sigh.

"It seems the mission became more troubling, now I'm sure you will a lot of obstacles once you're inside before you meet the evil spirit inside. After all, it looks like the entities that once resided in this place are now that evil spirits minions so get ready"

"En but didn't this became more exciting?" John smiled sinisterly as he chuckled.
