An-Namrud never cared for any of those things. All that mattered was his work. The Tower of Babel. 

This would prove it to everyone... that gods do not exist.

Until one day, it all came crashing down. His world destroyed, and his soul trapped in a never ending cycle of reincarnation.

After countless cycles, he finally escaped with only the thoughts of revenge against those who had cursed him with this fate.

Been away for a long time, but I am trying to make a come back to writing. Please be patient and continue to support me as I start writing again. I will try to update at least 1 chapter a week for now with more if I can.

His words only seemed to infuriate Shelise more. His admittance to being a devil ignited her rage again, but she couldn't speak because her mouth was covered. Aleks continued to slowly approach Shelise and his voice became even more gentle.

"It's not what you are thinking. Not a devil in the sense that you believe me to be. I do not belong to the race of Fallen Angels and their offspring. I am a Human, my soul is that of a Human, but I am also not just your brother. I know that you have been brainwashed by that scum Tihr so it may be difficult for you to accept my words. I am the same brother that you cared for in our youth and I am the same person who couldn't bring myself to show you my true feelings."

Aleks stopped in front of his sister and placed his hand on her head like he had done in their youth.
