There are unspoken rules in each and every place you visit. To say that the son is more important that the daughter is true in the world of 'Fate' or 'Changing Fate'. Though, that rule doesn't apply to you if you are strong enough to overrule it, such is the exception.
Such is the case for the female lead, Ru Shi. Starting at the very bottom of the ladder, she will climb to the very top. Afterall, if you start from the bottom, you'll be much stronger than those who start near the top. That is, if you don't fall of while on your journey to the top [1].
My twin brother is perfect in every aspect, this I have no doubt in as he is the male lead. He is so cute! The cutest baby I have ever seen in both my lives! Except for my older sister or course, she was the chubbiest baby around! I swear, you could roll her around like a ball. [2]
In the short span of 2 years, I have realized many things. Such as the fact that I, Qing Ying, had been given the most minimal amount of parenting possible. This I wouldn't mind as I am mentally 18, but if this was the original host then her actions later on are rather understandable.
"Qing Shan! Where are you," a maid was heard calling for my brother. I looked behind me to make sure he was still there and saw him place his right index finger on his lips.
'My brother is so smart!' I thought happily to myself. But...is it normal for such a young child to be able to outsmart an adult? Adding to that....he hasn't talked since the day he was born. It couldn't possibly be that he was mute, right? He wasn't mute in the story after all....
Maybe I was wrong, maybe even if this world seems to be exactly like Changing Fate, it really isn't. What happens in the book doesn't necessarily transfer to the real world.
