Ouyang Family

The Ouyang family didn't know that Wei wasn't the pair's real son. In the end, they didn't know that Jun was now the real heir. They were extremely unhappy that the husband and wife pair didn't want to pair their Guye with Wei, and instead paired her with the sickly Jun. If they actually found out that Jun was the real son and Wei was just adopted in case anything happened to Jun, what would their reaction be?

Jun was so cute ah! Why would anyone not want him?

Guye and the Ouyang family didn't want him, for some reason. Not like Jun cared about their opinion anyways. Jun was here to live a fulfilling life, and grant little Jun's last wish. Such a young boy, but died so early...

To be honest, Jun wanted to go over to the next realm and probably comfort the little Jun. He was too...pitiful. Jun once asked Meng why he chose to reincarnate a soul instead of using the original little Jun's soul. Meng just replied with an, "I can't."

Well, Meng really couldn't do anything about little Jun. The soul just floated out uncontrolably. Meng tried everything to seal the soul into place but it didn't succeed. In the end, he was forced to take a random, fresh from the murder soul to put into the body. According to Meng, the previous Jun might be inside his past body.

So he didn't just disappear...they just traded souls.

The differences were, he still remembered the past life, the other boy didn't. So Jun prayed that the boy had a happy life. It was simple living in the countryside, but Jun enjoyed being there. Even if the whole family could only share a cupcake during his birthdays.

Ah! How he wanted to just share a small cake with his family instead of hosting this party where he could get lost any second.

Jun sipped the grape juice as Guye conversed with his mother. Because of Guye's attitude towards him, Yi didn't pay much attention to what Guye had to say. The girl had to repeat things three to four times, just so Yi could reply. However, guye didn't think that it was a hassle. She gladly repeated those things numerous times that Jun got tired of her chattering.

Yi noticed that her son was getting sleepy. However, Jun was supposed to meet with Elder Ouyang today. He couldn't sleep so early.

"Jun'er, Jun'er, wake up for a bit," after sending Guye off to find her Elder, Yi tried to keep Jun awake. Jun naturally tried to be awake, but this child's body simply couldn't endure the strain of waking up so late. Jun forced his body to stay awake, and Meng also supported the child's body.

Sometimes, having a God as your backer is very nice ah!

Elder Ouyang was a very handsome old man. Although he looked old and wrinkly right now, Jun could see that he was very handsome in his youth. Elder Ouyang was famous for his gentle personality and his love for children. The only person who didn't object to the marriage arrangement was Elder Ouyang.

His son tried to persuade him to tell the Hong family to change Jun to Wei, but Elder Ouyang stayed silent. He didn't like the impulsive teenager Wei. He preferred the cute little boy Jun.

To him, Jun was the epitome of perfectness (if that is a word).

When he saw the cute little boy, he couldn't believe why Guye of his son didn't like this boy. Although this boy was a bit more mature than other children his age, he was still naive about the wolves and the lions*. Elder Ouyang had the want to support the boy, or even...

He wanted the boy as his grandchild.

"Elder Ouyang," Jun respectfully greeted. There was a slight dimple, which wasn't that visible due to Jun's baby fat. Jun went down from the tall couch and ran over to the elderly man. Meng had advised him to move more, at least that way, he could stay awake as his body was still moving.

However, when he was about to reach Elder Ouyang, Guye purposefully put a foot on his path.

Jun who had never experienced the business word, the enmity even between families with ties, didn't pay much attention until he tripped and landed onto Elder Ouyang's lap. Elder Ouyang was surprised but he immediately helped the small boy up.

Compared to Guye, Jun was much smaller, which made a lot of sense as girls mature more quickly than boys, until they reached 13 years old. Jun was still 7 years old, and he just turned 7 today.

Elder Ouyang checked if Jun had any injuries. Guye was surprised that her grandfather didn't get angry. Seeing how much affection her grandfather gave to a Hong instead of his own kin, she started to get jealous.

The Ouyang family was much more complicated than the Hong family...
