There will be medical cases and scenario's included due to the main character (Li Xiuying) being a doctor. I have tried my best to explain as much of the medical terminology as possible. I'll also try and put some sources in where possible.

Emerald Hospital was truly fearless. They became more and more courageous with their exploits over time.

The Evil bosses at Emerald Hospital used their connections with these small hospitals to run various questionable and very lucrative operations in the background.

The good they did was just a front for the evil that lay beneath. From experimental drug therapies on both adults and children, illegal cosmetic procedures, unlicensed surgical techniques, and even stem therapy using aborted fetuses. You name it, they did it. Nothing was off limits as long as it could earn money. Be it people or animals, the old or the young everything and everyone was fair game. They were just resources waiting to be harvested by them. It still shocks the mind that so much evil and corruption went on in one place.
