Li Xiuying is the youngest surgeon the world has ever seen.

The novel may have realistic elements but it is a Work of FICTION. Please allow for some artistic license. 

There will be medical cases and scenario's included due to the main character (Li Xiuying) being a doctor. I have tried my best to explain as much of the medical terminology as possible. I'll also try and put some sources in where possible.

Tu Nianzu pointed at himself: "Me?"

Ceoi Dong-Hyun: "Who else? I'm starting to get déjà vu. I'm wondering if the caliber of students has dropped since I was at Northwest. I should go back and take a look to consider if I should carry on donating as an alumni."

The nurse beside Tu Nianzu passed the retractors to Ceoi Dong-Hyun instead.

Ceoi Dong-Hyun: "Elder Tu you will feel a bit of a pulling sensation. I am just pulling the layer of muscle and skin apart so I can ensure the proper access to your artery. Please let me know if it's too intense for you."

Qilin immediately turned to Li Xiuying: "I thought he wouldn't feel pain?"

Li Xiuying: "Pain and stretch are picked up by different receptors. We blocked the pain receptors in the area but not the stretch receptors. It will be more of a discomfort than pain."
